While the APX radio is pairing, a Bluetooth ID and a strong 128-bit key are exchanged to encrypt the Bluetooth link.
APX Mission Critical Wireless Remote Speaker Microphone (RLN6554)
The APX wireless remote speaker microphone (RSM) cuts the cord, allowing public safety users to work safer and more efficiently. Features include large, recessed push-to-talk and emergency buttons, volume control, an audio jack, and a task light for low-light visibility. A 360-degree rotatable clip allows for easy wear on a lapel or epaulet. This RSM offers enhanced security, fast push-to-talk, and quick touch pairing with voice prompts. A removable, rechargeable battery enables multi-shift usage, and it can be charged on the go with a vehicular charger or in the office with a dual-unit desk charger.
