Intel & AMD Bracket Overview

The included brackets are designed for various Intel and AMD CPU sockets. The diagrams illustrate the different bracket types for Intel LGA sockets (LGA1200/115X+20XX, LGA1700) and AMD AM4/AM5 platforms.

Intel LGA1700 Installation

Follow these steps to install the cooler on an Intel LGA1700 socket:

  1. Attach the LGA1700 backplate to the motherboard from the rear. The washer on this backplate is blue.
  2. Turn the motherboard to the front. Place the LGA1700 standoffs and then the bracket. Secure by tightening nuts.
  3. Apply a thin layer of thermal grease onto the CPU surface.
  4. Mount the water block and secure it.

Intel LGA1200/115X Installation

Follow these steps to install the cooler on an Intel LGA1200/115X socket:

  1. Attach the LGA1200/115X backplate to the motherboard from the rear. The washer on this backplate is white.
  2. Turn the motherboard to the front. Place the LGA1200/115X standoffs and then the bracket. Secure by tightening nuts.
  3. Apply a thin layer of thermal grease onto the CPU surface.
  4. Mount the water block and secure it.

Intel LGA20XX Installation

Follow these steps to install the cooler on an Intel LGA20XX socket:

  1. Thread the LGA20XX standoffs into the motherboard mounting holes.
  2. Attach the bracket and secure it by tightening nuts.
  3. Apply a thin layer of thermal grease onto the CPU surface.
  4. Mount the water block and secure it.

AMD AM4/AM5 Installation

Follow these steps to install the cooler on an AMD AM4/AM5 socket:

  1. Remove the plastic retention from the motherboard, but keep the original backplate.
  2. Attach the standoffs to the backplate, insert screws through the bracket, and tighten them onto the backplate. The AM4 standoff color is red; the AM5 standoff color is grey.
  3. Apply a thin layer of thermal grease onto the CPU surface.
  4. Mount the water block and secure it.

Radiator/Fan Mounting

Follow these steps to mount the radiator and fans:

  1. Use the fan-radiator mounting screws to secure the fan(s) onto the radiator.
  2. Use the radiator mounting screws to secure the radiator to the case panel.
