Precautions
Read this user manual carefully before use, and retain it for future reference.
This appliance is intended for household and similar applications such as:
- Staff kitchen areas in shops, offices, and other working environments.
- Farm houses.
- Client use in hotels, motels, and other residential type environments.
- Bed and breakfast type environments.
Important Safety Information:
- The appliance must not be immersed in water.
- The appliance is only to be used with the provided base.
- Do not allow persons with reduced physical, sensory, or intellectual abilities, or lack of experience or common sense, to use this product without supervision or guidance.
- Never let children play with the kettle. Keep it away from children.
- Always unplug the kettle when it is empty, not in use, when adding water, moving, cleaning, or if there is a problem.
- Do not use on an inclined or unstable surface. Keep away from heat sources to avoid damage to plastic parts. Do not place adjacent to or on top of any electrical appliance.
- Use only with a grounded power outlet rated at 10 A or above, and a voltage of 220-240 V~. Do not plug into an outlet with other appliances.
- If the power cord is damaged or broken, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or after-sales service department to avoid hazards.
- Do not open the lid, pour water, or add water while the kettle is operating.
- Overfilling may cause boiling water to splash out.
- This kettle is for boiling water only. Do not use it to heat other substances like seaweed, eggs, soy milk, tea leaves, milk, or noodles, as it may malfunction.
- Do not add water above the maximum water level mark; hot water may overflow or spray out, causing leaks.
- Ensure water is above the minimum water level mark to prevent boil-dry.
- Remove the kettle from the base when adding water and wipe away any excess water from the bottom before placing it back.
- Do not place near heat sources like cookers and stoves to avoid fire risk.
- Do not use low-quality power strips.
- Do not immerse the kettle or base in water. Do not tilt, shake, move, or tip the kettle while in use.
- Children aged 8 years and above can use the appliance with supervision or instruction for safe use and understanding of hazards. Cleaning and maintenance by children is only permitted if they are older than 8 and supervised. Keep the appliance and cord out of reach of children under 8 years.
- Warning: Avoid spillage on the connector.
- The heating element surface is subject to residual heat after use.

Product Overview
The product consists of the following parts:
- Spout: For pouring water.
- Kettle Body: The main container for water. It has markings for maximum (1.7 L) and minimum (0.5 L) water levels.
- Base: The power base for the kettle.
- Display: Shows temperature and status.
- Knob: Used to select temperature.
- Status Light: Indicates the operational status.
- Lid: Covers the kettle.
- Lid Release Button: Opens the lid.
- Handle: For holding and carrying the kettle.
- Connector: Connects the kettle to the power base.
- Power Plug: Connects the base to the electrical outlet.

Control Area and How to Use
Once connected to power, the kettle is ready for use.
1. Select a Function
In standby mode, turn the knob to select a temperature. Pressing the 'Keep Warm' or 'Boil' button initiates heating or keeping warm. The display turns off after 2 minutes of inactivity but lights up when the kettle is lifted or a button is pressed.
The knob adjusts temperature by 1°C increments from 40°C to 90°C by default. The Mi Home/Xiaomi Home app offers six temperature levels: 45°C, 60°C, 70°C, 85°C, and two custom levels.
2. Automatic Keep Warm After Boiling
Turn the knob to the desired keep-warm temperature, then press the 'Boil' button. The display shows the real-time water temperature. After boiling, the kettle cools to the set temperature and enters keep-warm mode.
- Indicator turns red during heating, blue when the set temperature is reached.
- Default keep-warm duration is 24 hours, customizable from 1 to 24 hours via the Mi Home/Xiaomi Home app.
- Maximum displayed temperature after boiling is 99°C.
3. Heat Directly to Keep Warm Temperature
Turn the knob to the desired temperature, then press the 'Keep Warm' button. The display shows the real-time water temperature. Upon completion, the kettle enters keep-warm mode.
In standby mode, if the water temperature is between 40°C and 90°C, pressing 'Keep Warm' directly enters keep-warm mode at the current temperature.
4. Boil
Press the 'Boil' button to start heating. The display shows the real-time water temperature. After heating, the water cools naturally.
Note: Mode and status lights turn off when water cools. Display turns off below 45°C.
5. Cancel Heating
During heating, press either the 'Keep Warm' or 'Boil' button again to cancel.
6. Kettle Lift Memory
When keeping warm, lifting the kettle displays '--'. If replaced within 3 minutes, it continues keeping warm. If replaced after 3 minutes, it returns to standby mode.
Note: This function is enabled by default and can be disabled in the app.
7. DND (Do Not Disturb) Mode
Can be enabled in the Mi Home/Xiaomi Home app. When enabled, the status light turns off and notification sounds are muted.
8. Restore Factory Settings
In standby mode, press and hold the 'Boil' button for 7 seconds to restore factory settings.
Connect with Xiaomi Home App
This product works with the Xiaomi Home app for control.
Scan the QR code to download and install the app. If already installed, you will be directed to the setup page. Alternatively, search for "Xiaomi Home" in your app store.
Open the Xiaomi Home app, tap "+" in the upper right corner, and follow the prompts to add your device.
Note: App versions may vary; follow current app instructions.
Wi-Fi Connection
Connecting: In standby mode, press and hold both 'Keep Warm' and 'Boil' buttons for 7 seconds. A buzzer will sound, indicating Wi-Fi reset. The Wi-Fi indicator will blink. Connect via the Xiaomi Home app. The indicator stays on once connected.
Enable/Disable Wi-Fi: Wi-Fi is disabled by default on first power-on. In standby mode, press and hold the 'Keep Warm' button for 7 seconds to enable/disable Wi-Fi.
Wi-Fi Status:
- Waiting for connection: Wi-Fi indicator blinks slowly.
- Connecting: Wi-Fi indicator is on.
- Connected successfully: Wi-Fi indicator is on.
Cleaning & Maintenance
- Add 0.5 L of food-grade white vinegar and soak for at least 1 hour.
- After pouring out the vinegar, wipe away any remaining sediment with a damp cloth.
- Add water (between minimum and maximum marks), boil, pour out, and rinse with clean water 4-5 times.
- Use a dry cloth to clean the exterior. Keep the kettle in a dry, well-ventilated area, protected from dust, moisture, and insects.
Precautions:
- Ensure the kettle is unplugged and cooled before cleaning.
- Regularly remove limescale and sediment inside to extend service life.
- For heavy limescale, repeat the cleaning steps. Do not use steel wool or abrasive cleaning agents.
- Do not immerse the kettle or base in water; keep the exterior dry.

1. Limited Product Warranty
Xiaomi warrants that the Products are free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and in accordance with the user manual, during the Warranty Period. Xiaomi warrants to the original purchaser that its product will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use during the specified period. Xiaomi does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation and is not liable for damages arising from non-compliance with instructions.
2. Remedies
If a hardware defect is found and a valid claim is received within the Warranty Period, Xiaomi will, at its option, (1) repair the product at no charge, (2) replace the product, or (3) refund the product, excluding potential shipping costs.
3. How to Obtain Warranty Service
To obtain warranty service, deliver the Product in its original or similar packaging to the address specified by Xiaomi. Xiaomi may require proof of purchase or compliance with registration requirements.
4. Exclusions and Limitations
This Limited Warranty applies only to products manufactured by or for Xiaomi, identified by Xiaomi or Mi trademarks. It does not apply to:
- (a) Damage due to acts of nature (e.g., lightning, flood, fire).
- (b) Negligence.
- (c) Commercial use.
- (d) Alterations or modifications to any part of the product.
- (e) Damage caused by use with non-Xiaomi products.
- (f) Damage caused by accident, abuse, or misuse.
- (g) Damage caused by operating the product outside permitted uses or with improper voltage/power supply.
- (h) Damage caused by service performed by non-Xiaomi representatives.
You are responsible for backing up any data or materials stored on the product. Xiaomi is not responsible for data loss during service.
No Xiaomi reseller, agent, or employee is authorized to modify this warranty. If any term is held unenforceable, the rest remain valid.
After-sales services are limited to the country or region of original purchase, unless otherwise promised by Xiaomi or prohibited by law.
Products not duly imported, manufactured, or acquired from Xiaomi or an official seller are not covered. You may benefit from warranties from the retailer who sold the product. Xiaomi invites you to contact your retailer.
These warranties do not apply in Hong Kong and Taiwan.
5. Implied Warranties
Implied warranties (including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose) are limited in duration to the maximum duration of this limited warranty, to the extent permitted by law. Some jurisdictions do not allow duration limitations.
6. Damage Limitation
Xiaomi shall not be liable for indirect, special, or consequential damages (including loss of profits, revenue, or data) resulting from any breach of warranty or condition, even if informed of the possibility of such damages, to the extent permitted by law. Some jurisdictions do not allow exclusion or limitation of such damages.
