Quick Start Guide

Before using the Oxygen Bar for the first time, follow these steps:

Step 1: Place the Unit on a Hard, Flat Surface and Attach Headset

• Place the unit on a stable, hard, and flat surface such as a tabletop, tile floor, or desk.
• Do not place the unit on a carpet, rug, towel, or other soft surface to avoid overheating and damage.
• Attach the airflow tube to the front of the unit by gently pushing the end of the tube over the oxygen output nozzle.

Step 2: Turn On Both the Power Supply and Oxygen Flow

• Turn on the power supply using the switch on the back of the unit.
• To turn on the flow of oxygen, press the "OXYGEN ON/OFF" button on the LCD screen display panel or on the remote control.
• Both the power supply of the unit AND the "OXYGEN ON/OFF" setting must be turned on for the oxygen flow to start.

Safety Precautions

Caution

• This unit is not for medical use. It is designed for health maintenance.
• Do not block the ventilation port located on the bottom of the unit.
• Do not set the base on carpet or other soft surface, as this could cause airflow restriction and damage to the unit.
• For best performance, regularly clean the intake filter and panel located on the back of the unit.

Warning

• Do not leave the unit near heated areas. High heat will cause the rubber case to deform.
• During operation, do not press hard upon the external rubber tube, as this will result in airflow restriction and damage to the unit.
• Do not leave the unit unattended when turned on.
• Do not use accessory attachments not recommended by Zadro, as this may cause injury.
• Do not alter the polarized plug in any way.
• A product should never be left unattended when plugged in.
• Close supervision is necessary when this product is used by, on, or near children or invalids.
• Use this product only for its intended use as described in this manual. Do not use attachments not recommended by the manufacturer.
• Never operate this product if it has a damaged cord or plug, if it is not working properly, if it has been dropped or damaged, or dropped into water. Return the product to Zadro Products for examination and repair.
• Keep the cord away from heated surfaces.
• Never block the air openings of the product or place it on a soft surface, such as a bed or couch, where the air openings may be blocked. Keep the air openings free of lint, hair, and the like.
• Never use while sleeping or drowsy.
• Never drop or insert any object into any opening or hose.
• Do not use outdoors or operate where aerosol (spray) products are being used.
• DO NOT use the unit when there are any hazardous vapors or pesticide spray in the room.
• The use of oxygen in therapy requires that special care be taken to reduce the risk of fire. Any materials which will burn in air and some that will not are easily ignited and burn rapidly in high concentrations of oxygen. Accordingly, for safety, it is necessary that all sources of ignition be kept away from the product and preferably out of the room in which it is being used. "NO SMOKING" signs should be prominently displayed.
• This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). As a safety feature, this plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature.

Danger

• Always unplug this product immediately after using.
• Do not use while bathing.
• Do not place or store product where it can fall or be pulled into a tub or sink.
• Do not place in or drop into water or other liquid.
• Do not reach for a product that has fallen into water. Unplug immediately.

Zadro's oxygen bar produces oxygen-enriched air through a quadruple air filtration system and French-imported molecular membrane that increases oxygen concentration up to 90% (compared to 21% oxygen concentration of normal air*). 2 Ways to Wear

Choose either the headset or nasal tube and attach it to the end of the air flow tube. Place the headset or nasal tube attachment on your head and adjust to a comfortable position.

Using the Headset:

Place it over your ears and adjust the flexible arm to be directly in front of your nose.

Using the Nasal Tube Attachment:

Position the nasal tube with the nasal prongs facing upward and curved toward the face. Then insert the two nasal prongs into your nostrils and position until it's comfortable.

Adjustable Oxygen Concentration

Choose from 5 adjustable oxygen concentrations (based at sea level):

1. 1L* = 90% Oxygen (highest concentration)
2. 2L* = 75% Oxygen
3. 3L* = 55% Oxygen
4. 4L* = 45% Oxygen
5. 5L* = 30% Oxygen (lowest concentration)

If this is your first time using an oxygen bar, it is recommended to start at the lowest concentration (5L setting) then increase the concentration over time.

*L = Liter of air per minute

Timer Settings

When the OXYGEN ON/OFF is turned on, press the up and down TIMER buttons on the LCD screen display panel or on the remote control. Choose between the following 8 timer settings (the unit will auto shut off when the timer setting is finished):

• 15 minutes
• 30 minutes
• 45 minutes
• 1 hour
• 1 hour 15 minutes
• 1 hour 30 minutes
• 1 hour 45 minutes
• 2 hours

Aromatherapy

Use the aromatherapy reservoir to infuse the oxygen with your choice of essential oils (optional).

Unscrew the reservoir located in the middle of the air tube by twisting until it completely detaches. Add your desired amount of essential oil (2-4 drops are recommended), then screw the reservoir back together to lock into place.

Humidity

If you're in a dry climate, you can increase the humidity within the oxygen flow by utilizing the humidity feature (optional).

1. Before turning on the unit, pull out the humidifier door and slide out the water tank cup. Then fill the cup with water up to the "MAX" fill line.
2. Turn on the power supply switch in the back of the unit, then press the "OXYGEN ON/OFF" button on the LCD screen display panel or on the remote control.
3. The water tank will automatically start when the OXYGEN ON/OFF button is pushed to turn on the airflow.
4. To refill the water tank, turn off the oxygen flow and power supply first before sliding out the water cup.

Maintenance

If your oxygen bar is in need of service, send the unit to Zadro Products for examination or repair.

Cleaning the Headset and Tubes

1. Water condensation may form in the air flow tube and essential oil reservoir if using the oxygen bar in high humidity locations. Clean both pieces before storing the unit for long periods of time.
2. Rinse the airflow tube and essential oil reservoir with warm water and allow to air dry before storage or re-attaching the parts to the unit.

Cleaning the Unit

1. Unplug the unit from the electrical outlet. Wipe the unit with a soft clean cloth that's slightly damp with water, then wipe dry with a dry cloth. Do not use paper towels (fibers can get caught in the unit's vents).
2. Do not use washing detergents, benzene, thinner, or alcohol.

Cleaning the Water Reservoir

1. Open the water tank panel and slide out the water cup from the unit.
2. Rinse the cup with warm water and dry with a cloth before attaching back to the unit. Do not use washing detergents, benzene, thinner, or alcohol.

Cleaning the Essential Oil Reservoir

1. Twist to unlock the essential oil reservoir.
2. Rinse each piece of the reservoir with warm water. Do not use washing detergents, benzene, thinner, or alcohol.

Replacing Fuses

Note: Fuses degrade with time and will fail after repeated use. A blown fuse does not mean that there is something wrong with the unit. If a fuse is repeatedly failing, send the unit to Zadro Products for inspection or service.

1. Before opening the fuse door, turn off the power and unplug the unit.
2. Locate the fuse door on the back of the unit between the ON/OFF switch and the electrical plug port. With the power off and the unit unplugged, use a small blunt item such as tweezers or a small screwdriver to remove the fuse door assembly. The fuse door assembly can be removed by pulling the small notch on the right side of the door outward. The fuse door assembly will come completely out of the unit. Note: To avoid damage, pull slowly so that the fuse door does not fly out of the fuse slot.
3. With the fuse door assembly removed, simply unclip the fuse.
4. Insert a new 5A - 250V "Little Fuse" into the fuse door assembly clip.
5. Re-insert the fuse door assembly into the unit until you feel a click and the door is flush with the unit surface.

Troubleshooting

The Unit Doesn't Turn On

• Check that the power cord is securely plugged into a nearby electrical outlet.
• Check that the power cord is undamaged.
• Check that your wall outlet is live and undamaged.
• Check if the fuse in the back of the unit is black or the wire is broken. If so, replace the fuse with a standard 5 amp fuse from a local hardware supply store.

The Unit's Motor is Running, but No Oxygen is Emitted

• Check that the OXYGEN ON/OFF button has been pressed.
• Check that all tube connections are secure.
• Check for damage or pinching of the hose, headset, and nasal tube.

There is Limited Oxygen Flow

• Check that all tube connections are secure.
• Check for damage or pinching to the hose, headset, and nasal tube.

The Aromatherapy Doesn't Work

• Check that the aromatherapy reservoir is screwed tightly, there are no cracks, and that it's not leaking.
• Check that there is enough essential oil inside the reservoir.
• Check that the essential oil of choice is of high enough concentration.

1 Year Limited Warranty

Zadro products include a 1 Year limited warranty from date of purchase against defects in materials and workmanship. This warranty does not include damage to the product as a result of misuse or accident.

Should your product become defective during the warranty period, Zadro, Inc.™ will repair or replace (at our sole discretion) your product, at no charge. However, you are responsible for properly packing your product and any applicable shipping charges to Zadro, Inc.™
