The UGREEN US216 is a versatile USB sharing switch that enables two computers to share up to four USB devices. This device facilitates seamless switching between computers, allowing efficient use of peripherals like keyboards, mice, printers, and scanners.
Key Features & Ports
The USB sharing switch is equipped with the following:
- Select Button ?: Allows users to easily switch between the two connected computers.
- Input Indicators ?: Visual cues to show which computer is currently active.
- 4 x USB Output Ports: Connect your essential USB peripherals to these ports.
- 2 x USB Input Ports: Connect Computer 1 and Computer 2 to these ports.
- 1 x Micro USB Power Port: For optional external 5V power supply, recommended for power-hungry devices.
Connection and Operation
How to Connect:
- Connect Computer 1 to the USB Input 1 port of the switch.
- Connect Computer 2 to the USB Input 2 port of the switch.
- Connect your USB devices (e.g., keyboard ⌨️, mouse ?️, printer ?️, scanner ?️) to the four USB Output ports.
- For devices requiring more power, connect a Micro USB cable (not included) from a power adapter to the Micro USB Power Port.
How to Operate:
- Press the Select button ? to toggle between Computer 1 and Computer 2. The corresponding Input Indicator ? will illuminate.
Important Notes
- It is recommended to use the Micro USB power port for power-hungry devices such as mechanical keyboards, printers, or external storage devices to ensure stable performance.
- Input 1 is the default active input when the device is first powered on. If you connect Computer 2, you may need to press the Select button ? to switch to Input 2.
