Welcome to FactoryTalk Batch View
FactoryTalk Batch View allows you to initiate and control batch processes. A batch is a running control recipe, or the material produced by a single recipe execution.
Key Features:
- Batches: Create, view, and command control recipes; observe recipe execution; bind units for class-based recipes. A batch remains in the list until removed or the server restarts. A graphical representation of running batches is displayed.
- Prompts: Alert operators to requests for parameters, unit binding, material binding, and signatures or manual instructions. Control recipes require operator input for completion. Value prompts alert operators to requests for parameter values, unit binding, and material phase/container binding. Signatures require user permissions and optional comments for signoffs. Instructions are individual steps of a manually executed phase.
- Equipment: Provides an equipment-centric view of the defined area model, managed by the FactoryTalk Batch Equipment Editor. Equipment is displayed in three levels: process cell, unit, and phase/operation sequence. Each level shows run-time data. Phase level allows viewing phase-specific information and running phases manually. Views include List view (default), Diagram view (graphical representation), and Phase Summary view.
- Diagnostics: View server and service status, performance, statistics, batch event journals, and arbitration information. Status shows version and connection info for various FactoryTalk components. Server provides performance, hardware, and software details. Statistics show connection info, model file save times, and allow tag verification. Journals list event journals, and Arbitration allows managing system elements.
- Profile: Access to change default language, view assigned groups, enable/disable minimal view, and view authorization settings. Also allows viewing logged-in user information.
For more information, refer to the FactoryTalk Batch View User Manual or online help.
