Install Driver for Windows 11

Due to Intel not providing the Windows 11 system driver for X520/X540 network card officially, it is invalid to install Windows 10 driver in Windows 11 system by double-clicking;

Our company can manually update the Windows 10 driver. We have tested our method and our NIC work well in Windows 11.

Example of X520-DA2 network card driver installation in Windows 11 system:

1. Insert the network card into the host and turn on the host power to enter the Windows 11 system;
2. Open the device manager in Windows 11 system to check whether the Ethernet controller is recognized;

   Note: If the Ethernet controller is not recognized, it means that the host does not recognize the network card chip. It is necessary to check whether the network card is plugged in and out properly, or replace the slot for testing.

3. Download the Windows 10 driver Wired_driver_xxx_x64.zip from the Intel official website or the CD.

4. Use 7-Zip or other unzip application to unzip the downloaded file-Wired_driver_xxx_x64.zip, get into the unzipped folder, and unzip Wired_driver_xxx_x64.exe again
5. Select the Ethernet controller in the device manager, and right-click to update the driver.
6. Select: Browse my computer to find drivers
7. Click Browse, select the folder that has just been downloaded and unzipped twice, and click Next to install it automatically
8. In the device manager, right click the second Ethernet controller and repeat operations 5, 6 and 7 to install the driver for the second port.
