Intel® NUC M15 (LAPRC) Laptop Kit – Driver Installation Guide

Introduction

This guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing drivers on the Intel® NUC M15 (LAPRC) Laptop Kit after installing Windows® 10 or Windows® 11. Drivers should be installed in the specified order for optimal system performance.

Driver Installation Steps

  1. Chipset: Double-click SetupChipset.exe.
  2. ME (Management Engine): Double-click SetupME.exe.
  3. Graphics: Double-click Installer.exe. Restart the system after installation.
  4. Serial IO: Double-click SetupSerialIO.exe.
  5. Audio Package: Right-click on InstallPackage.bat and select "Run as administrator".

    Note: It may take over a minute for the installation to finish. After installation, the system will automatically restart.

  6. HID Event Filter: Double-click Setup.exe. Restart the system after installation.
  7. Integrated Sensor Hub (ISH): Double-click SetupISS.exe.
  8. Processor Power Management (PPM): Double-click PPM-ADL-preview-XX.exe.
  9. Dynamic Tuning Technology (DTT): Double-click IpfDtt_XX_Install.exe.
  10. Intel Context Sensing Service (ICSS): Right-click both .inf files and select "Install". If using Windows 11*, right-click the .inf files, select "Show More Options", then select "Install".
  11. iTouch THC Base Driver: Right-click on the .inf file and select "Install". If using Windows 11*, right-click the .inf files, select "Show More Options", then select "Install".
  12. Wireless: Double-click WirelessSetup.exe. If necessary, restart.

    Alternatively, install using the command line:

    Navigate to the Wireless folder. Select File > Open Windows PowerShell > Open Windows PowerShell as administrator (CMD can also be used). Then type: WirelessSetup.exe -fcode

  13. Bluetooth: Double-click Intel Bluetooth.msi, then select "Typical".
  14. Camera: There are 7 .inf files to install. Install the files in the order below by right-clicking each one and selecting "Install".

  15. Thunderbolt™: Double-click Thunderbolt™ Software Installer.exe. Restart the system after installation. If using Windows 11*, it is not necessary to install the Thunderbolt driver.
  16. GNA: Right-click on gna.inf and select "Install". A pop-up window similar to step 10 will appear (if using Windows 10).
  17. Intel Connectivity Performance Suite (ICPS):
    • a. Right-click on ICPSComponent.inf and select "Install".
    • b. Navigate to the Drivers > ICPSExtension folder.
    • c. Right-click on ICPSExtension.inf and select "Install".
  18. Uniwill Service: Right-click on Install-UniwillService.bat and select "Run as administrator".
  19. Touchpad Firmware Update: Right-click on Install.bat and select "Run as administrator".
