NEXT GENERATION DIGITAL TRUNKING

The MOTOTRBO Capacity Max trunked radio system is built on a distributed architecture for voice and data. Control is centralized, but traffic routing is optimized to minimize cost and maximize performance. The system is based on a standard IP network and an industry-standard server platform with proven performance and excellent support, eliminating the need for specialized hardware.

Capacity Max goes beyond the core interoperability of the DMR standard to bring enhanced functionality. Features and applications such as Digital Emergency and Work Order Ticketing provide the tools necessary for business success.

CENTRAL MANAGEMENT FOR COMPLETE CONTROL

Managing a fleet of radios has evolved into managing a full suite of communication resources. Capacity Max provides centralized control over all system management needs. System management software offers command of infrastructure, devices, and talk groups, organized logically for efficiency and effectiveness. Users can optimize performance, monitor alarms and faults, and the system can assist in creating radio codeplugs.

Updating and upgrading is also simplified, with processes for pushing software and firmware patches to the system server, infrastructure, and radios.

SMOOTH SCALABILITY

MOTOTRBO Capacity Max makes it easy to grow the system as business needs evolve. A system can support up to 15 sites with up to 3,000 users per site and up to 100 voice talkpaths. A wide portfolio of MOTOTRBO radios is compatible, offering flexibility to tailor the solution to specific operations. Capacity Max integrates seamlessly into the existing MOTOTRBO portfolio of systems; the transition from Capacity Plus or IP Site Connect is straightforward and non-disruptive.

HIGH RESILIENCY, HIGH SECURITY

Capacity Max incorporates multiple layers of redundancy, ensuring that no single failure can bring the system down. Optional redundant controllers, IP switches, and site repeaters can be equipped. A second control channel per site can also be provisioned for ultra-high system availability.

Security is a priority throughout the system. All voice, data, and control traffic within the IP network is encrypted, and all radios are securely authenticated. Devices can even be remotely disabled and re-enabled if they are misplaced or stolen.

DMR TIER III COMPLIANT

The solution supports all the innovative features expected from MOTOTRBO, from advanced location tracking to long text messaging and enhanced security. For customers requiring a system that supports other vendors' radios, Capacity Max can operate in DMR Tier III "Interoperability" mode, with these specific features disabled.
