MOTOTRBO Digital Two-Way Portable Radios

The Future of Business Communication Delivered Today

Make technology more productive and personal. MOTOTRBO combines the best of two-way radio functionality with the latest digital technology. It integrates voice and data seamlessly, offers enhanced features that are easy to use, and delivers increased capacity to meet communication needs from the field to the factory floor. With exceptional voice quality and long battery life, MOTOTRBO keeps work teams connected.

High-Powered Performance

Utilizing TDMA digital technology, MOTOTRBO delivers integrated voice and data, twice the calling capacity, and clearer voice communications. MOTOTRBO radios operate 40 percent longer between recharges compared to analog. IMPRES™ technology in batteries, chargers, and audio accessories ensures longer talk time and clearer audio.

Industry-Leading Applications

Motorola's Application Developer Program offers customized data applications to adapt radios to unique business needs. This program provides applications for work order ticket management, network management, email gateways, location tracking, dispatch consoles, and telephony integration. Users can send text messages, track work order information, pinpoint crew locations with integrated GPS, and manage fleets from a central dispatch location.

Added Functionality

MOTOTRBO offers dispatch capability with the MIP 5000 VoIP console, enhanced call signaling, basic and enhanced privacy-scrambling, option board expandability, and compatibility with SCADA solutions for utility and public service monitoring and alarms. It also provides digital telephone interconnect capability for communication between radios and landline or mobile phones, and a transmit interrupt suite for prioritizing critical communication.

Expanded Capacity and Coverage

MOTOTRBO radio systems provide non-stop communication for workforces of any size. MOTOTRBO's IP Site Connect uses the Internet to extend coverage globally. The scalable, single-site Capacity Plus solution expands capacity to over 1,000 users without new frequencies. Connect Plus multi-site digital trunking accommodates high-volume, wide-area communication needs. MOTOTRBO can be scaled to meet coverage requirements at single or multiple sites.

Migrate at Your Own Pace

MOTOTRBO radios operate in analog and digital modes, with dynamic mixed mode repeater functionality for automatic switching between analog and digital calls. This allows for a smooth migration to digital. Users can begin using MOTOTRBO radios and repeaters on existing analog systems and migrate to digital as time and budget allow.

Reliable Durability

MOTOTRBO meets demanding specifications, including IP57 for water submersibility (portables) and U.S. Military 810 C, D, E, and F standards. Radios are intrinsically safe when equipped with an FM/CSA battery for use in potentially flammable environments. They are backed by a two-year Standard Warranty, one-year Repair Service Advantage (US)/Extended Warranty (Canada), and a minimum 1-year warranty for accessories.
