Download the JBL Headphones app for enhanced control and personalization of your listening experience. Available on Google Play and the App Store. (For China only, use the provided QR codes).

How to Wear

Try different ear tip sizes (S/M/L) for a perfect fit and optimal audio performance.
Insert the earbuds into your ears, ensuring a secure and comfortable fit.

First Time Use

Place the earbuds in the charging case.
Close the case.
Open the case to power on the earbuds.

Power On & Connect

Open the charging case to power on the earbuds.
On your device, go to Bluetooth settings and turn Bluetooth ON.
Select "JBL WAVE BEAM" from the list of available devices to connect.
For Android 6.0+ devices, Fast Pair may be available for quick connection.

Dual Connect

Use both earbuds in Stereo Mode for immersive sound or switch to Mono Mode for single-ear use.

Controls

The earbuds feature touch controls:

Tap once: Play/Pause, Answer/End call
Tap twice: Next track, Reject call
Tap three times: Previous track
Hold (2s): Activate Voice Assistant (Bixby/Siri®/Others) or toggle Ambient Aware/TalkThru.

*Enable advanced controls by connecting your JBL Wave Beam to the JBL Headphones app.

VoiceAware

Adjust the level of ambient sound you hear with VoiceAware. You can control this through the JBL Headphones app.

Power Off

Place the earbuds in the charging case and close the lid to power them off.

Manual Setup

Connect to a New Bluetooth Device

With the earbuds in the charging case, press and hold the touch area on both earbuds for a few seconds until the LED flashes blue.
On your device, go to Bluetooth settings and select "JBL WAVE BEAM" to connect.

Factory Reset

With the earbuds in the charging case, press and hold the touch area on both earbuds for more than 5 seconds until the LED flashes blue and then turns off.

Do More with the App

The JBL Headphones app allows you to customize gestures, control ambient sound modes (Ambient Aware, TalkThru), adjust EQ settings, and more.

Charging

Place the earbuds in the charging case.
Connect the charging case to a power source using the USB-C cable.
A 10-minute charge provides approximately 2 hours of playback.
A full charge takes less than 2 hours.
