- The indicator light on the remote will flash quickly and then stop. When the flashing stops, the remote has successfully paired with the projector.
Note on Volume Buttons
While the mouse button is activated, the Volume + or Volume - buttons will function as page up and down.
Using Your Phone
Control the projector with the KODAK LUMA App from the Apple App Store or the Google Play store for a more intuitive experience. Use your phone as a remote to navigate menus, mirror your screen, input login information, and control media volume. The reverse screen mirroring feature allows you to view the LUMA interface directly on your phone.
App Setup:
- Search for "KODAK LUMA" in your phone's app store.
- Download the app and ensure your phone is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as the projector.
- Open the app and follow the instructions to pair it with the projector for remote functionality.
Charging the Projector
Connect the projector to the provided charger and allow it to fully charge before first use. Use only the original charger. A flashing red indicator LED, a red battery icon on screen, or a "Low Battery" notification indicates a low battery. While charging, the indicator LED is solid red. Once charging is complete, the indicator LED turns solid white.
To charge, connect the cable to the USB-C charging port or the DC adapter to the DC port.
Powering the Projector On/Off
To turn the projector on or off, hold the power button on the side for three (3) seconds.
Note: The projector can also be turned on or off using the remote control's POWER button when connected to a power adapter.
Adjusting the Focus
If the image appears fuzzy or unfocused, use the focus wheel on the side of the projector. Turn the wheel up or down until the image is sharp and clear.
Note: If an image or video remains fuzzy after adjusting the focus wheel, try pressing and holding the confirm button to return to the main menu. If the main menu graphics are clear but the image is still fuzzy, the issue might be with the image or video quality itself.
Adjusting Volume
Use the Volume Up (+) and Volume Down (-) buttons on the remote control during playback. Volume controls are also available in the remote app on your phone.
Connecting to an External Device
To access photos or videos from a USB drive, insert it into the corresponding port and navigate to Source > File Browser.
For HDMI-compatible devices, connect an HDMI cable (an HDMI-to-HDMI cable is included) from the device to your projector. If your device requires an adapter, it must be purchased separately.
An AUDIO OUT jack is available on the left side for audio devices or headphones.
Note: When both an HDMI device and a USB drive are connected, the HDMI device takes precedence. Disconnect the USB drive to access other sources.
