Overview
This 18 cu. ft. SideKicks™ freezer offers ample storage for frozen items and features a longer-lasting, energy-efficient LED lighting system. The Fast Freeze function quickly lowers the temperature to preserve freshness and flavor. An audible temperature alarm alerts you if the freezer becomes too warm. Its frost-free defrost system eliminates the need for manual defrosting. Electronic temperature controls allow for precise temperature selection for various frozen foods. An optional icemaker ensures a consistent supply of ice.

Installation Requirements
Electrical
Requires a 115 V, 60 Hz, AC only, 15 or 20 A fused, grounded electrical supply. A separate circuit serving only the freezer is recommended. Use an outlet that cannot be turned off by a switch. Do not use an extension cord.
Water Pressure
A cold water supply with water pressure between 30 and 120 psi (207 to 827 kPa) is required for the water dispenser and icemaker. For reverse osmosis systems, the pressure to the water inlet valve must be between 30 and 120 psi (207 and 827 kPa).
Location Requirements
Ventilation and Clearance:
- Allow at least 1" (2.54 cm) between the back of the cabinet and the wall.
- Maintain a 1/4" (6.4 mm) clearance between adjacent appliances.
- If installing next to a fixed wall, allow 2" on the hinge side for wider door opening.
- Keep flammable materials and vapors, such as gasoline, away from the freezer.
- Do not cover the freezer with items like blankets or sheets, as this reduces air circulation.
Temperature:
- For optimal efficiency, locate the freezer in an area where the temperature will not fall below 40°F (5°C).
