Notes:

1. Do not block the ventilation slots during installation or use.
2. The "Up" button is used for "Settings/+" to switch modes and set the time.
3. The "Down" button is used for "Bluetooth/-" to establish Bluetooth connection and set the time.
4. Remove the insulation film from the battery before first use.
5. Screen flickering may occur due to static electricity or external pressure but is not a malfunction. The device will normalize after some time in standby mode.
6. The "Year" information is only displayed during time setting mode.

Setting the Time

There are two ways to calibrate the time on this device:

Method 1: Automatic Time Calibration via Mi Home/Xiaomi Home App

The device works with the Mi Home/Xiaomi Home app. Control your device through the Mi Home/Xiaomi Home app.

Scan the QR code to download and install the app. If the app is already installed, you will be directed to the connection setup page. Alternatively, search for "Mi Home/Xiaomi Home" in your app store to download and install it. Open the Mi Home/Xiaomi Home app, tap the "+" button in the top right corner, and follow the prompts to add your device.

After the "Phone is connected" message appears on the device's connection page in the Mi Home/Xiaomi Home app, the device will automatically calibrate the time.

* In Europe (excluding Russia), the app is called Xiaomi Home. Use the app name displayed on your device by default.

Notes:

• The app version may have been updated, so follow the instructions based on the current app version.
• If the device is not added within 30 minutes of the first power-on, reset the device or re-install the battery, then try adding the device again.
• If the "Connected to a Bluetooth gateway" message appears on the device's connection page in the Mi Home/Xiaomi Home app, manual calibration is required on the settings page, as automatic time calibration is not available in this mode.

Method 2: Manual Time Setting

1. On the right side of the device, press and hold the "Up" button for 3 seconds until the "year" digits start flashing, indicating that the device has entered time setting mode.
2. Press both the "Up" and "Down" buttons simultaneously to confirm the current setting and move to the next. The screen will sequentially display symbols for "year", "month", "day", "hour", and "minute".
3. While a symbol is flashing, press or press and hold the "Up" or "Down" button to adjust the value.
4. Settings are saved automatically. If no operation is performed for over 15 seconds, the settings will be automatically saved, and the device will exit time setting mode.

Note: The "day of the week" information is synchronized automatically; separate setting is not required.

Button Functions in Time Setting Mode

Mounting

Surface Mounting: Remove the protective film from the bracket and, aligning with the arrow on the back, attach the bracket to the back of the sensor. Once attached, place the sensor on a table, shelf, or any other suitable flat surface.

Wall Mounting: Remove the protective film from one side of the adhesive tape to connect it to the sticker area on the back of the sensor. Then, remove the protective film from the other side and attach the sensor to the desired location on the wall or any other smooth surface.

Notes:

• Adhere to surfaces suitable for double-sided adhesive tape.
• To prevent damage to the sensor from falling, it is not recommended to attach it to dusty (e.g., drywall or concrete) or uneven surfaces.
• Before using the device, after attaching the bracket to the adhesive film or mounting the sensor on the wall, press it firmly against the surface for approximately 10 seconds.
• When mounting the sensor on the wall, choose a height according to your personal preference for the best viewing angle. The recommended mounting height should not exceed 2 meters.

Switching Information on the Main Screen

In the default mode, press the "Up" button to cycle through three display modes: temperature, humidity, and time, adapting the sensor to different usage scenarios.

"Smart" Pairing

Add the sensor to the Mi Home/Xiaomi Home app. On the sensor's connection homepage, tap the " [plus icon] " icon in the top right corner, then select "Automation". Follow the on-screen instructions to set up "smart" pairing with other smart devices.

Notes:

• The intelligent pairing function is only compatible with Mi Home/Xiaomi Home devices that support the Bluetooth gateway function. For more information, please refer to customer support.
• The app version may have been updated, so follow the instructions based on the current app version.

Low Battery Notification

If this icon "[battery icon]" appears at the top of the screen, it indicates a low battery level and the need for replacement.

Standard Mode

Battery Replacement

Remove the battery compartment cover through the opening at the bottom of the sensor. Remove the discharged battery and install a new CR2450 button cell with the positive (+) side facing up, then securely install the cover.

Care and Maintenance

• Avoid getting water inside the device during cleaning.
• If the sensor surface is dirty, wipe it with a soft, damp cloth and a neutral detergent.

Precautions

• The sensor is not waterproof; do not immerse its ventilation openings in water.
• To prevent damage to the wall or sensor, do not forcibly remove it from the wall if attached with adhesive tape.
• The sensor is not intended for use in environments with temperatures below 0°C.
• Do not use it in unfavorable conditions with high temperature or humidity.
• Replace the battery with the specified model and dispose of the used battery in accordance with relevant government regulations and rules.
• This sensor is designed to promote a healthy lifestyle and should not be used as a measuring instrument.
• The included battery is for trial use only and may not have the same lifespan as a standard new battery.
