This guide provides essential information to get you started with your Samsung Galaxy Buds Live.

Your Device

Earbuds

The earbuds feature a touch area for controls, a touch-sensitive sensor, microphones, a speaker, an antenna area, charging contacts, and a wingtip for a secure fit.

Charging Case

The charging case includes a charger port (USB Type-C), an earbud battery indicator light, and a charging case battery indicator light.

Charge Your Device

Insert the earbuds into the charging case.
Close the charging case and connect the USB cable.
The earbuds and the charging case will charge simultaneously.

You can also charge the earbuds and charging case simultaneously using a wireless charger.

Important: Use only Samsung-approved charging devices and accessories. Using other accessories may void your warranty and may cause damage.

Charging Case Indicators

Green: Fully charged or above 60% battery.
Yellow: Between 30% and 60% battery.
Red: Charging or below 30% battery.
Flashing Red: Charging disabled or error due to abnormal temperatures or low battery.

Download the Galaxy Wearable App

To connect your earbuds to your smartphone, install the Galaxy Wearable app (for Android devices) or the Samsung Galaxy Buds app (for iOS devices).

Download the app from the Galaxy Store, Play Store, or the App Store onto a compatible phone. The app allows you to view connection status and access various settings.

Note: The Galaxy Wearable app is available for mobile devices running Android operating system 5.0 (API 21) or later, with 1.5 GB of RAM or more.

Connect to Your Samsung Device

Open the charging case to automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode. Alternatively, press the left and right touchpads simultaneously to manually enter Bluetooth pairing mode.

A pop-up window will appear on your mobile device. Tap 'Connect' and follow the on-screen prompts.

Wearing Your Device

Check the direction of each earbud. Point their lower halves (speakers) towards the lower part of your ear for a secure and comfortable fit.

Gestures

Single Tap: Music: Play/Pause.
Double Tap: Music: Next song. Calls: Answer/End a call.
Triple Tap: Music: Previous song.
Touch & Hold: Digital Assistant: Launch Bixby or Google Assistant. Music: Launch supported music apps. Calls: Reject a call. Noise Cancellation: Launch active noise cancelling.
