Getting Started
This guide outlines the steps to connect your Philips Smart Lock DDL720-FVP to the Philips Home Access app and configure its cloud storage features.
The initial setup involves registering an account, connecting the lock to your Wi-Fi network via the app, and then setting up cloud storage.

1. Register and log in to the Philips Home Access app.
Ensure you have downloaded and installed the Philips Home Access app on your smartphone.
2. Connect to APP
Follow these steps to pair your smart lock with the app:
- Enable Wi-Fi on your phone and tap the "Add Device" button within the app.
- Scan the 'App Binding' QR code, which is typically located on the back of the device's screen or on the battery cover.
- After selecting your correct Wi-Fi network, click "Next Step".
- Wake up the door lock keypad by touching it.
- Click the "*" key twice, then enter your master PIN code, and press "#" to confirm.
- Follow the voice prompts and select "4" from the menu presented by the lock.
- Align the QR code displayed on your phone screen with the door lock camera.
- Enter the master PIN code again and choose your preferred time zone. Read the "Notice on the Timezone Change Risk" carefully before proceeding.
- Name your device. You can select a preset location like "Front door", "Back door", "Side door", or "Basement door", or enter a custom name.
- Click "Complete" to finish the setup.
The app's home screen will then display your connected device, "DDL702-MVP", with its current status (e.g., "Locked").
3. Cloud Storage Function (3 days rolling)
This section details how to activate and manage the cloud storage service for your smart lock.
- In the app, navigate to Settings ➡️ Mine ➡️ Cloud Storage Function.
- Click on "My Subscription".
- Tap "Get to know cloud storage" to view features such as:
- Video viewing any time ? (隨時隨地 查看抓拍視頻)
- Data security protection ?️ (數據安全防護)
- No need to worry about data loss ☁️ (無須擔心數據丟失)
- Click "Active free cloud storage".
Upon activation, videos are automatically captured and stored in the cloud with a 3-day rolling storage period. The subscription plan is valid for one year and requires annual renewal. Each device can claim the free plan up to ten times.
A success message "恭喜您!成功訂閱雲存儲套餐" (Congratulations! Successfully subscribed to the cloud storage package) will be displayed.
Important Notes
- The first account to connect to the door lock acts as the app administrator. Other accounts require authorization from the administrator to connect.
- Ensure your Wi-Fi network operates on the 2.4 GHz band, as this is required for the connection.
- Cloud storage offers a free 3-day trial. The subscription term is 10 years, requiring annual renewal.
