Installation Instructions

IMPORTANT SAFETY OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

  2. Please follow these general precautions before installing, maintaining, or fixing.

WARNING

  1. The packing contains small parts that could be swallowed by children.
  2. Keep the packaging material away from children and pets.
  3. Do not look directly at the LED lights for any length of time.
  4. This light fixture is NOT A TOY and is not suitable for use by children.
  5. We do not take responsibility if the instruction manual is not followed correctly or if the product is handled improperly resulting in damage to person or property.

WARNING: This product can expose you to chemicals including lead and lead compounds, Di(2-ethylhexyl)phthalate (DEHP), which are known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm. For more information go to www.P65Warnings.ca.gov.

LOCATION

Fixture can be wall mounted.

Recommended installation height: 4-8 feet above the ground.

Environment will affect the sensor range. It is recommended not to mount the fixture near a heat source like an air conditioner, vent, or furnace exhaust, or in a direction facing a light reflecting object.

Maybe the sensor detection distance will decrease lower than 16 feet in some special environment.

What's in the box

PREPARATION

Tools required for assembly (not included): phillips screwdriver, safety goggles, power drill and ladder.

Contents:

  • Sensor (Part A)
  • Mounting plate (Part B) x 2
  • Mounting screw (Part C) x 2
  • Anchor (Part D) x 2

How to installation and operation

  1. Step 1

    Slide the mounting plate (part B) off the back of the sensor (part A).

  2. Step 2

    Loose the screw (turning anticlockwise) and open the battery cover from the back of the sensor (part A).

  3. Step 3

    Insert three 1.5V AAA size batteries (not included) and choose your desired channel (4 channels option, based on the selected channel of the product that you want to link) next to the inside of the battery chamber. Then close the battery cover and lock the screw tightly (clockwise).

    Note: Make sure the polarity of the batteries is correct.

  4. Step 4

    Switch the power switch to "ON".

  5. Step 5

    Use a power drill (not included) to drill the holes on your chosen surface.

    Place the mounting plate (attached on the back of the light fixture) over the holes & use 4 of the Plastic Anchors (Part D) and Screws (Part C) to fasten the mounting plate to the surface.

  6. Step 6

    Slide the sensor into the grooves of the mounted plate in parallel. (the side with ON/OFF switch faces down).

Cleaning and Maintenance

To prolong the original appearance, clean the sensor with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use paints, solvents, or other chemicals on this light fixture. They could cause a premature deterioration of the finish.

Battery replacement

Use 3 new 1.5V AAA size batteries for replacement.

Note: Replace 3 new batteries every six months.

  • Do not mix old and new batteries.
  • Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable batteries.
  • Exhausted batteries must be removed from the product.
  • Do not dispose of batteries in fire.
  • Must follow state and local regulations to recycle and dispose of batteries.
  • Batteries must be placed at the correct polarity.

This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures:

  • Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
  • Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
  • Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected.
  • Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.

This equipment should be installed and operated with a minimum distance of 20 cm between the radiator and your body.
