General Best Practices for Assembly
- Please read and understand this entire manual before attempting to assemble or install the product.
- Before beginning assembly, ensure all parts are present by comparing them with the package contents list and hardware contents list. Do not attempt assembly if any part is missing or damaged.
- Locate the assembled gazebo at least 6 feet from any obstruction such as fences, garages, houses, or overhanging branches, laundry lines, or electrical wires.
- Some parts may have sharp edges. Wear protective gloves if necessary during assembly.
- This unit is heavy. For safety, do not assemble this item alone. Four people are recommended for safe assembly.
- Periodically check all nuts and bolts for tightness and tighten them again when required.
- Pay attention to the parts orientation during assembly.
Warnings
- Install the gazebo on level ground. Stakes are provided to secure the gazebo to the ground.
- Do not assemble the gazebo on sandy, muddy, or loose soil, as stakes may not have enough anchorage.
- If securing the gazebo to a wood deck or concrete surface, use anchors suitable for those surfaces.
- Snow must be cleared off regularly during snowy days. Remove snow from the roof when it is thicker than 2 inches. Use a plastic snow rake to remove excessive snow and ice buildup from the roof and keep away from falling debris.
- Do not leave the gazebo in areas with a risk of high wind, as this may cause damage to the structure.
- Assembly or maintenance of the product must be carried out by adults only.
- Check your state and local regulations prior to purchasing. Some jurisdictions may require permits for installation and use. Special procedures may be valid in your area.
- Keep all flame and heat sources away from the fabric. The fabric meets CPAI-84 specifications for flame resistance but is not fireproof. It will burn if in continuous contact with any flame source. Applying foreign substances may render flame-resistant properties ineffective.
- If any paint is scratched, touch it up to prevent rusting.
- This product is for outdoor use only.
Warranty
What is Covered?
The limited warranty is extended to the original purchaser and applies to material and manufacturer's defects, provided the item is maintained with care and used only for personal, residential purposes. The warranty period is 1 Year.
Maintenance
- Steel components are treated with rust-inhibiting paint. However, surface oxidation (rusting) may occur if protective coatings are scratched. This is not a defect and is not covered by the warranty.
- To minimize scratching, handle the product with care during assembly. If scratches or damage occur, cover them immediately with rust-inhibiting paint (not included).
- Surface rust can be removed with a light application of regular cooking oil or WD-40. If oxidation occurs and is not addressed, it may drip onto decks or patios, causing damaging stains. Prevent this by taking the aforementioned measures.
- An annual application of a water-based stain or sealant is recommended to reduce weathering and extend the gazebo's life.
- Inspect all wood parts regularly for damage or deterioration. Remove/sand splinters and replace any wood parts showing signs of structural damage. Note that knots, small cracks, and weathering are natural in outdoor wood products and do not negatively affect structural integrity.
- Keep the instruction manual for future reference.
- Keep the original packaging for storing the gazebo.
