Introduction
Congratulations on purchasing this refrigerator, designed with the latest technologies for ease of use and environmental friendliness. We recommend reading this guide and the technical datasheet carefully to understand your new appliance.
Safety Information
The refrigerator contains R600a refrigerant gas and cyclopentane insulating gas, which are inflammable. Follow these regulations to avoid dangerous situations:
- Always unplug the power cord before performing any operation.
- Do not damage the refrigeration system tubes.
- If a refrigerant leak is detected, do not touch the outlet, avoid open flames, ventilate the room, and call a service center.
- Do not use sharp objects to remove frost or ice, as this can damage the refrigerant circuit and cause injury.
- Do not install in humid, oily, dusty places, or expose to direct sunlight or water.
- Do not install near heaters or inflammable materials.
- Do not use extension cords or adapters.
- Do not pull, fold, or touch the power cord or plug with wet hands.
- Keep the plug clean to prevent fire hazards from dust.
- Do not use mechanical devices to hasten defrosting.
- Absolutely avoid open flames or electrical equipment (heaters, steam cleaners, candles, oil lamps) for defrosting.
- Do not use or store inflammable sprays (e.g., spray paint) near the refrigerator.
- Do not use electrical appliances inside food storage compartments unless manufacturer-recommended.
- Do not store inflammable or highly volatile materials (ether, petrol, LPG, aerosol cans, alcohol, etc.).
- Do not store medicine or research materials requiring strict temperature control.
- Keep ventilation openings unobstructed.
- Do not place containers filled with water on top of the appliance.
- Do not perform repairs yourself; all interventions must be by qualified personnel.
- This appliance can be used by children aged 8+ and persons with reduced capabilities if supervised and instructed on safe usage. Children should not play with the appliance.
Turning the knob fully counterclockwise switches the product off. Ensure the electrical cord and socket are easily reachable. The socket must be compatible; if not, request replacement by an authorized technician. Do not touch internal parts or frozen food with moist hands, as it can cause burns.
Scrapping Old Appliances & Conformity
This appliance is marked according to the WEEE directive (2012/19/EU). Dispose of WEEE responsibly at designated collection points. Individuals play a role in preventing environmental issues. When buying a new appliance, the old one may be returned to the retailer.
The CE mark indicates compliance with relevant European safety, health, and environmental requirements.
Installation
Warnings
- Do not install in damp or wet locations, as it can compromise insulation and cause leakage. Condensate may form on the exterior.
- Do not place near heat sources or direct sunlight.
The appliance operates within specific environmental temperature ranges:
- SN: +10°C to +32°C
- N: +16°C to +32°C
- ST: +16°C to +38°C
- T: +16°C to +43°C
(Refer to the product's nameplate for the specific climatic class.)
- Do not place containers with liquids on top.
- Wait at least 3 hours after final placement before operating.
Electrical Connection
After shipping, place the appliance vertically and wait 2-3 hours before connecting to the electrical system. Ensure:
- The socket is earthed and compliant with law.
- The socket can withstand the maximum power load indicated on the nameplate.
- The power supply voltage matches the nameplate.
- The cord is not folded or compressed.
- The cord is checked regularly and replaced by authorized technicians.
The manufacturer is not liable for non-compliance with these safety measures.
Electrical Connection (U.K. only)
If the supplied plug does not fit:
- Cut off and destroy the supplied plug.
- Fit a suitable plug as follows:
- Green and yellow wire: Connect to terminal marked E or Earth symbol.
- Blue wire: Connect to terminal marked N or black.
- Brown wire: Connect to terminal marked L or red.
Appliance Start-up
Remove all internal packaging and clean with water and baking soda or neutral soap. After installation, wait 2-3 hours for the appliance to stabilize at normal working temperature before loading food. If the power cord is disconnected, wait at least five minutes before restarting.
Operation
Turning On/Off with Internal User Interface
The control panel (Fig. 1) features:
- 1. Temperature indicator LED
- 2. Temperature control button
- 3. ON/OFF button
- 4. Smart Touch button
To turn ON: Plug in the appliance. If all temperature LEDs are off, press ON/OFF (3) for 1 second. A light will come on, and the appliance will beep.
To turn OFF: Press ON/OFF (3) for 1 second. The light will go out, and the appliance will beep. In case of power failure, the appliance resumes with the last saved setting.
Setting the Temperature
Press the temperature control button (2) to cycle through levels 1 (warmest) to 4 (coldest). Level 2 is recommended for normal operation.
Advanced settings menu: Press button (2) for more than 2 seconds to access intermediate levels (e.g., 2.1, 2.2, 2.3, 2.4). Settings are saved after 5 seconds of inactivity.
Door Open Alarm
An alarm sounds if the door is left open for over 90 seconds. Close the door or press button 2 to silence it.
Smart Touch Technology
This appliance features Smart Touch technology for interaction via the Candy simply-Fi App using NFC on Android smartphones.
- Download the Candy simply-Fi App.
- Interaction is limited to Android smartphones with NFC. Other devices offer 'Contents only' access.
Functions available via App:
- Fine Temperature Level Setting (intermediate steps)
- Super Boost (quick cooling)
- Eco Mode (sets to level 2: +5°C, -18°C)
- My Statistics (cooling data and tips)
- Smart Care (direct link to User Manual and online help)

How to Use One Touch (First Time Registration)
- On your Android smartphone, enable NFC in "Settings" > "Wireless & Networks".
- Turn on the Smart Touch button on the appliance (press for 2 seconds) until the NFC antenna LED lights up.
- Open the App, create a user profile, and register the appliance following on-screen instructions.

Notes for Smart Touch:
- Align your smartphone's NFC antenna with the appliance's Smart Touch logo.
- Move the phone slightly if the connection is not immediate. Keep the phone on the dashboard during the procedure.
- Thick cases or metallic stickers on the phone may interfere with data transmission.
- Using non-original smartphone components might affect NFC functionality.
- App control is proximity-based; remote operation is not possible.
Smart Fi+ Technology
This appliance is equipped with SMART Fi+ technology for remote control via App using Wi-Fi.
Machine Enrollment (On App)
- Download the Candy simply-Fi App.
- Open the App, create a user profile, and enroll the appliance as instructed. This is required for the first installation.
- Easy Enrollment for Android smartphones with NFC: Press the button (single long pressure) until NFC LED and Wi-Fi LED blink. Place the smartphone on the SMART Fi+ logo until data download confirmation. Finalize on the smartphone screen.
Wi-Fi Reset
To reset Wi-Fi, press the button with a single long pressure. The Wi-Fi LED will blink, and the NFC LED will switch on. This is necessary for enrollment issues, power outages, router changes, etc. After reset, remove the product from your App profile and re-enroll.
Refrigerator Usage from Remote by App
Once enrollment is complete, the Wi-Fi LED will be on, and the NFC LED will be off. You can manage the product via display buttons or the App; both will be synchronized.
Conservation
To maintain food flavour, nourishment, and freshness, store food in the refrigerator compartment as shown in Fig. 4, wrapped appropriately to avoid cross-contamination.
Refrigerator Zone
- Fruit/Vegetables: Wrap in plastic materials (films, bags) and store in the crisper zone to reduce moisture loss and prevent rapid deterioration.

Freezer Zone
Use the table below for compartment recommendations and storage times (e.g., 2-3 months, 4-6 months, 6-8 months, 10-12 months). Freezing occurs only in designated compartments.

Practical Recommendations
- Place food homogeneously on shelves for proper air circulation and cooling.
- Avoid contact between food and the far end walls.
- Do not introduce hot foods.
- Remove food wrappings before storing.
- Wash containers before use.
- Do not obstruct cold air ventilator openings.
- Do not cover the glass shelf of the vegetable bin.
- Do not store bottles in the freezer compartment as they can burst.
- During power outages, keep doors closed.
- Proper installation location (not hot/humid) and avoiding frequent door openings help performance and energy saving.
Note: If large quantities of food are added or the door is opened frequently, the 'OK' indicator may not show immediately. Wait at least 10 hours before adjusting the temperature.
Freezing
- Use fresh food.
- Freeze small amounts at a time. Never exceed the maximum indicated on the rating label.
- Do not open the freezer door during freezing.
- Food must be sealed airtight.
- Separate food to be frozen from already frozen items.
- Label bags/containers for inventory.
- Do not refreeze defrosted foods; consume them promptly.
Note: Temperature adjustment is usually not needed. If excessive cooling occurs in the refrigerator compartment, set warmer levels (1, 2). After freezing, set warmer levels (1, 2).

Defrosting
Defrosting the Refrigerator Compartment
The refrigerator compartment defrosts automatically. Water drains through a rear hole and evaporates via compressor heat. Keep the drainage pipe clean.
A small amount of frost or water on the back wall is normal. Ensure the water outlet is clean and food does not touch the back or sides.
Defrosting the Freezer Compartment
Static Products (without NO-FROST): Defrost when frost exceeds 3mm to increase energy efficiency. Steps: Turn off, unplug, remove food, leave door open, collect water, dry, reconnect, set values, reintroduce food.
NO-FROST Products: Defrosting is automatic.
Warning: Avoid open flames or electrical appliances for defrosting. Do not use sharp objects to remove frost.
Maintenance and Cleaning
Lighting
The product uses LED lights, which are long-lasting and environmentally friendly. Contact Technical Assistance for replacement.
Cleaning
- Before cleaning, unplug the appliance to prevent electric shocks.
- Do not pour water directly on the appliance.
Important Cleaning Notes:
- Wipe away food oils from plastic components.
- Clean internal parts, gaskets, and external parts with warm water and baking soda or neutral soap. Avoid solvents, ammonia, bleach, or abrasives.
- Remove and wash accessories (shelves) in hot soapy water, rinse, and dry thoroughly.
- Clean the back of the appliance with a vacuum cleaner (after unplugging) for better energy efficiency.
Energy Savings
For better energy savings:
- Install away from heat sources, direct sunlight, and in a well-ventilated area.
- Avoid putting hot food inside.
- Do not overstuff the appliance for proper air circulation.
- Defrost if ice builds up.
- Keep doors closed during power outages.
- Minimize door opening times.
- Avoid excessively cold thermostat settings.
- Remove dust from the rear of the appliance.
Avoiding Noises
Normal operating noises include humming (compressor), rumblings/hissing (refrigerant flow), and ticks/clicks (compressor shutdown). To reduce vibration noises:
- Avoid containers touching each other or glass recipients.
- Check the proper installation of internal accessories (drawers, shelves).
Note: Refrigerant gas produces noise even when the compressor is off. Clicking sounds due to material expansion are normal.
Reversibility of the Door
The doors can be reversed to open right or left. This operation must be performed by qualified technical personnel and is not covered by the warranty.

Installation of the Appliance in the Column

The appliance uses coupling devices (loader slide) to attach doors to column panels.

Precautions for Correct Operation
Once embedded, place the rear of the column in contact with the wall to prevent compressor access. Ensure adequate air circulation for the condenser. The column needs a rear chimney with an unblocked upper opening and a front slot covered by a ventilation grill.

Suspending Use of the Appliance
If the appliance is not to be used for a long time:
- Turn the appliance OFF.
- Extract the plug or remove the safety device.
- Clean the appliance.
- Leave the doors of the appliance open.
Troubleshooting

If you are not solved the problem, contact the Service Center, providing the type of fault and information from the appliance's internal plate (model and series number).
Appliance Types
This refrigerating appliance is not suitable for freezing foodstuffs if it lacks a 4-star compartment. It is not intended for use as a built-in appliance if it is free-standing. Wine Coolers are intended exclusively for wine storage.
Food Storage
Position different food in different compartments according to the table below:

It is suggested to set the temperature at 4°C in the fridge compartment and -18°C in the freezer compartment. For most food categories, colder temperatures in the fridge compartment ensure longer storage. For frozen food, refer to the storage time on the packaging.
Positioning
Install the appliance where the ambient temperature corresponds to the climate class indicated on the rating plate:
- Extended temperate (SN): 10°C to 32°C
- Temperate (N): 16°C to 32°C
- Subtropical (ST): 16°C to 38°C
- Tropical (T): 16°C to 43°C
Availability of Spare Parts
Thermostats, sensors, circuit boards, and light sources are available for a minimum of seven years. Door handles, hinges, trays, and baskets for seven years. Door gaskets for ten years, after the last unit is placed on the market.

Minimum guarantee: 2 years (EU Countries), 3 years (Turkey), 1 year (UK, Russia), 3 years (Sweden), 2 years (Serbia), 5 years (Norway), 1 year (Morocco), 6 months (Algeria, Tunisia). No legal warranty required for Algeria, Tunisia.
