Product Overview
The SCS Sentinel CodeAccess RFID is an access control keypad designed for use with RFID badges. It offers secure and convenient access management for various applications.
Safety Instructions
This manual is an integral part of your product. These instructions are provided for your safety. Read this manual carefully before installing and keep it in a safe place for future reference. Select a suitable location. Make sure you can easily insert screws and wallplugs into the wall. Do not connect your electrical appliance until your equipment is totally installed and controlled. The installation, electric connections and settings must be made using best practices by a specialized and qualified person. The power supply must be installed in a dry place. Check the product is only used for its intended purpose.
Warnings:
- Keep matches, candles and flames away from the device.
- Product functionality can be influenced by strong electromagnetic interference.
- This equipment is intended for private consumer use only.
- Connect all the parts before switching on the power.
- Do not cause any impact on the elements as their electronics are fragile.
- When installing the product, keep the packaging out of reach of children and animals. It is a source of potential danger.
- This appliance is not a toy. It is not designed to be used by children.
Maintenance: Disconnect the appliance from the main power supply before service. Do not clean the product with solvent, abrasive or corrosive substances. Only use a soft cloth. Do not spray anything on the appliance. Make sure that your appliance is properly maintained and regularly checked in order to detect any sign of wear. Do not use it if a repair or adjustment is needed. Always call on qualified personnel.
Disposal: Don't throw batteries or out-of-order products with household waste. Dangerous substances they may contain can harm health and the environment. Make your retailer take back these products or use the selective collection of garbage proposed by your city.
IP68 Rating: Fully protected against dust and protected against the effects of prolonged immersion (at least one hour at one meter depth).

The kit includes:

Wiring / Installation
Installation
The keypad should be mounted securely on a wall. For a better seal, apply silicone to the top and the two sides of the keypad.

Note: A transformer is not required if your automation system is from SCS Sentinel.
To strike/electric lock:
- ROSE (x2): NOT USED
- GREEN: NOT USED
- WHITE: NOT USED
- YELLOW: EXIT BUTTON
- RED: +12V
- BLACK: STRIKE/ELECTRIC LOCK
- BLUE: COM
- PURPLE: NOT USED
- ORANGE: NOT USED
Power Supply: 12V DC
To gate automation: (Similar wiring as above, with specific connections for gate automation)
Reset to Factory Default
- Disconnect power from the unit.
- Press and hold the '#' key while powering the unit back up.
- Upon hearing two “Di” sounds, release the '#' key. The system is now reset to factory settings.
Note: Only installer data is restored; user data will not be affected.

Using the Keypad
Fast Programming
Programming a code:
Enter programming mode (default master code: 999999) *999999#
, then add a code: 1#
. To add a user code (1-100), enter user number, then user code (4 digits, not 1234), then confirm: [User Number]#[User Code]##

Programming a badge:

Door opening:
By user code: Enter the programmed user code and press '#'.
By badge: Present the programmed badge to the keypad.

User Settings
To enter programming mode: *Master code#

Setting the working mode:
- Mode 30#: Entry by card only.
- Mode 31#: Entry by card and PIN together.
- Mode 32#: Entry by either card or PIN (default).
Adding a user (Mode 32#):
- Add PIN user:

. Users can be added continuously. - Delete PIN user:

. Users can be deleted continuously. - Change PIN:

Adding/Deleting Card and PIN Users (Mode 31#):
- Add Card and PIN user: Add card as for a card user, press '*' to exit programming mode. Then allocate PIN:

Adding/Deleting Card Users (Mode 30#):
Operations are the same as for Mode 32#.
Delete all users:

Unlock the door:
- For a PIN: Enter the PIN then press '#'.
- For a card user: Read card.
- For a card and PIN user: Read card then enter PIN '#'.
Door Settings
Relay Output Delay Time
To set door relay strike time: * Master code # 4 [0-99] # *
. 0-99 corresponds to the delay time in seconds.
Changing the Master Code
To change the master code: 0 [New code] # [New code] #
. The master code consists of 6 to 8 digits.
It is recommended to change the master code from the default for security reasons.

Warranty
Warranty: 2 years. The invoice will be required as proof of purchase date. Keep the barcode and proof of purchase for warranty claims.
