How to Wear

  1. Try Different Sizes for a Perfect Fit and Audio Performance: The earbuds come with S, M, and L size ear tips. Choose the size that provides the most comfortable and secure fit.
  2. Insert and Adjust: Place the earbuds into your ears. Turn them when slotted in your ears to find the most optimal wear position. The earbuds should be worn when testing for fit.

First Time Use

Place both JBL Live Free 2 TWS earbuds into the charging case. The earbuds will indicate their charging status.

Power On & Connect

To power on and connect your JBL Live Free 2 TWS earbuds:

  1. Open the charging case. The earbuds will automatically enter pairing mode.
  2. For Android™ 6.0+ users (Fast Pair): A notification will appear on your device. Tap to pair. The device will be tied to your Google Account.
  3. For other devices: Go to your device's Bluetooth settings. Ensure Bluetooth is ON. Select "JBL LIVE FREE 2 TWS" from the list of available devices to connect.

Dual Connect + Sync

The JBL Live Free 2 TWS earbuds support both stereo and mono modes.

Multi-Point Connection

The earbuds can connect to a maximum of 2 devices simultaneously.

Controls

The JBL Live Free 2 TWS earbuds feature touch controls on both the left (L) and right (R) earbuds. The functions can be customized via the JBL Headphones App.

* Enable advanced controls by connecting your JBL Live Free 2 TWS to the JBL Headphones App.

** Enable your voice assistant through the JBL Headphones App and assign it to your preferred earbud (L/R).

Auto Play/Pause

The earbuds feature an auto play/pause function. When you remove an earbud, playback will pause, and when you put it back in, playback will resume.

This feature can be enabled or disabled via the JBL Headphones App under "Auto Play & Pause" settings.

VoiceAware

VoiceAware allows you to control the amount of your own voice you hear during calls. You can adjust the VoiceAware level (Low, Mid, High) through the JBL Headphones App.

Power Off

To power off the JBL Live Free 2 TWS earbuds, simply place both earbuds back into the charging case and close the lid. The earbuds will automatically power off.

Factory Reset

To perform a factory reset on your JBL Live Free 2 TWS earbuds:

  1. Place both earbuds in the charging case.
  2. Open the charging case.
  3. On either the left or right earbud, tap twice and then hold for 5 seconds (TAP × 2, HOLD (5s)). This will reset the earbuds to their factory settings.

Charging

The JBL Live Free 2 TWS earbuds and charging case can be charged via USB-C cable or a Qi-certified wireless charging pad (not included).

To prolong battery lifespan, fully charge the battery at least once every 3 months. Battery life varies by use and settings.
