Product Overview

The PETLIBRO Capsule Automatic Pet Water Fountain consists of the following parts:

Components:

  • 1) Spout: The part where water is dispensed.
  • 2) Water Outlet: The opening for water flow.
  • 3) Water Tray: The basin that holds the water for pets to drink from.
  • 4) Filter: A component that filters the water.
  • 5) Filter Tray: A holder for the filter.
  • 6) Water Pipe: Connects the pump to the spout.
  • 7) Water pump with power cord: Circulates and dispenses water.
  • 8) Foam Filter: An additional filter, often part of the pump assembly.
  • 9) Charger: Powers the water pump.
  • 10) Soft Plug: Seals the cord entry point to prevent leaks.
  • 11) Cord Slot: Guides the power cord.
  • 12) Water Tank: The main reservoir for the water.

How to Use

  1. Soak the filter: Place the filter in a clean bowl with water for 5 minutes, then rinse it thoroughly with tap water.

Notes: The filter must be fully soaked before the fountain is turned on; otherwise, water may not flow smoothly and could cause spillage. Do not soak the filter in the water tank itself to avoid surface dust contamination.

  2. Position the pump: Align the pump with the bottom slot shape. Press the pump to secure the suction cups tightly. Place the power cord into the cord slot.

Note: Ensure the pump is fixed in the correct position within the tank.

  3. Install the soft plug: To prevent water leakage and secure the power cord, align the cord slot when installing the soft plug.
  4. Connect pipe and add water: Install the silicone pipe onto the pump. Add water to the tank, ensuring the level is between the MIN and MAX indicators.

Note: The pump will fail if it runs dry.

  5. Install filter tray and filter: Place the filter tray into position and then place the filter onto the filter tray. Press down firmly to ensure the pipe outlet is correctly seated.
  6. Install water tray: Place the water tray. The spout can be installed or omitted based on your pet's drinking preference.
  7. Connect power adapter: Plug the power adapter into a power source.

Care Instructions

  • Replace the filter and foam filter every 2 weeks.
  • Clean the pump and fountain every 2 weeks.
  • To extend the life of the pump, always ensure there is water before starting the machine.

How to clean the pump:

  1. Remove the pump cover and impeller cover.
  2. Remove the impeller using the brush hook.
  3. Use the brush to clean the parts with water.

Tip: The brush can also be used to clean the spout. It is recommended to clean the spout every 2 weeks.

Note: The foam filter is located within the pump cover; change the foam filter every 2 weeks.

Troubleshooting

Problem Solution
Water keeps spilling out of the water tray. The filter may not be fully soaked. Please soak the filter in a clean bowl (not in the water tank) for 5 minutes before the first use.
The pump stops working. 1) Fill water between MIN and MAX. The pump will fail if it runs dry.
2) Clean the pump, water tank, and drinking basin.
3) If the above solutions do not work, please contact PETLIBRO customer support at support@petlibro.com.
How often should I change the filters? Where to get them? It is recommended to replace filters every 2 weeks. Please contact PETLIBRO customer support at support@petlibro.com to purchase new filters.
Why do I need to soak the filter before first use? The filters absorb more water (and therefore clean more water) when they are wet and expanded. Soaking the filter removes particulate matter that may have settled on the filter.
Water output speed slows down. For the first use (or after long-time storage), the water pump needs to discharge air. It is normal for the water output speed to slow down initially.
