Warranty and Disclaimer

Within 3 years after the purchase date, the original buyer may return any XKchrome controller that has failed due to a defect in materials or workmanship. LED whips that have one or more LEDs fail to illuminate due to a defect in materials or workmanship are covered with a 3-year warranty for the original buyer.

Installation of this product must be performed by a licensed professional. The warranty is void if the product failure results from damage due to improper installation, alteration, or consumer omission. XKGLOW Lighting is not responsible for consequential damages arising from product use or installation. XKGLOW Lighting reserves the right to deny warranty claims if the kit is installed in any manner other than specified. Product returns must include original packaging, invoice number, and a statement of the alleged defect. The company will test the product for defects. If testing does not support the warranty claim, reveals no defect, or indicates consumer negligence, the product will be returned with a reshipping fee. For products returned from the continental United States within 30 days of purchase and found defective, XKGLOW Lighting will exchange or refund the original purchase price. This does not cover shipping charges for international packages.

• Warranty or liability will not exceed the product purchase price, which is the buyer's sole remedy.

Return/Exchange Procedure

1. Email ? xk@xkglow.com to notify of the product issue, item number, and customer name from the invoice.
2. XKGLOW will send a troubleshooting guide or identify the component(s) needing replacement. If the issue persists, you will be asked to send back defective items.
3. Send the returned item as instructed, along with claims and a telephone number where you can be reached.
4. After acceptance and inspection, XKGLOW will issue a refund or replace items ASAP. For refunds, items must be sent to XKGLOW within 14 days from the purchase date. Original shipping charges are not refundable.

Mounting Instructions

1. Test all components before mounting:

   Connect all light units, the controller, and the switch wiring harness. Connect the Red battery terminal to the Positive (+) pole of the 12V DC battery. Connect the Black battery terminal to the Negative (-) pole. Turn on the switch and push the touch button to test the WHIP/S. If any defects are found, please contact XKGLOW for replacement.

2. Route wiring:

   Secure the controller in a safe, accessible location. Plug in the adapter wire(s) and route them to the rear of the vehicle.

3. Mount whip:

   Using the supplied hardware, mount the base of the LED whip to the vehicle and plug it into the adapter wire. To connect the whip, align the White arrow on the base with the White arrow on the LED whip. Pull up on the collar of the LED whip, push the whip onto the base, and release the collar. To remove, pull up on the collar.

4. Optional: Connect sensor wires:

   This step enables the LED Whips to flash amber for turn signals and turn red when the brake is applied. Refer to your vehicle's service manual for wire verification. Tap the Red sensor wire into the positive brake light wire to make the lights turn red automatically when the brake is applied. Tap the Yellow wire into the positive wire for the Left turn signal. Tap the Black wire into the positive wire for the Right turn signal. The Yellow and Black wires control the turn signal functions.

5. Secure all wires and connectors:

   Use zip ties to neatly mount and hide loose wires. Use 3M double-sided tape to secure male and female plugs together. Ensure wires do not touch hot surfaces or moving parts. Locate the ON/OFF switch in a convenient position.

6. Connect to 12V DC power:

   Firmly connect the wire terminals to the positive and negative poles of the battery. Power on the system, download the XKchrome App, and enjoy!
