Before Getting Started
For your safety and the proper operation of this product, please read this manual thoroughly before using the product for the first time. Please retain this manual for future reference and troubleshooting.
Product Overview
The LS-T22 is a smart electronic eyepiece with built-in Wi-Fi hotspots. It quickly attaches to a telescope and pairs with the NEEWER View App to provide the comfort and freedom of observing and taking astronomical photos and videos on your phone or tablet. The app allows selection of different camera modes, adjustment of image settings, and sharing of captures on social media. Ergonomically designed, it reduces eye and muscle strain compared to traditional eyepieces.

- 3 camera modes: Photo, video, and time-lapse.
Safe Use of Battery
- Do not attempt to disassemble, modify, or repair the battery. Doing so may cause the battery to leak, overheat, burn, or explode.
- Always charge the battery with the original or certified charger to prevent overcharging, short circuits, and other risks.
- If you notice an unusual charge speed and indicator status, please stop charging the battery immediately and contact customer service.
- Keep the product away from inflammable and explosive materials or substances.

Indicators:
- Power Indicator:
- Solid white: Power on.
- Solid red: Charging.
- Flashing red: Low battery (<5%).
- Off: Power off.
- Wi-Fi Indicator:
- Flashing white: Connecting.
- Solid white: Connected.
- Off: Power off or not connected.

Note: For telescope use, a diagonal prism is required (sold separately).
Instructions
I. Device Connection (App Permissions)
1. Download the NEEWER View App. Open the app and allow it access to the following functions:
- Location information (Precise or Approximate)
- Photos and media on your device
- Camera (to take photos and record videos)
2. Connect to the Wi-Fi network named "NW-LST22-XXXX" with the password "12345678". A green dot and network name will appear upon successful connection. If Wi-Fi is already enabled, tap "Please connect device" and follow the on-screen instructions.
II. Adding Devices
In the Home UI, tap "Add smart devices" or the "+" button on the navigation bar to add devices.
III. Functions
After connecting the device, tap the device icon to enter the Control UI. The top status bar displays Wi-Fi signal, battery status, app display on/off, and mute on/off.
From the left side, users can adjust settings like exposure, ISO, zoom, white balance, saturation, sharpness, and contrast. Tap a setting and drag the slider for precise adjustment. Tap the blank area on the screen to hide the slider.
Image Settings Explained:
- Exposure (EV): 0-5000 (auto/manual adjustment, increment: 1). Determines image brightness.
- ISO: 0-100 (increment: 1). Higher ISO allows more light.
- Zoom (X): 100%-500% (1X, 2X, 3X, 4X, 5X, increment: 1X). Brings subjects closer for a more detailed view.
- White Balance (WB): 2800K-6500K (auto/manual adjustment, increment: 1). Adjusting white balance gives a more natural look to the image.
- Saturation (Sat): 0-128 (increment: 1). Refers to color purity; higher saturation results in more vivid colors.
- Sharpness (Sharp): 1-100 (auto/manual adjustment, increment: 1). Increasing sharpness can add definition to the edges of subjects.
- Contrast: 0-100 (increment: 1). Affects the difference between bright and dark areas, improving detail and clarity.
From the right side, users can switch camera modes, adjust display settings, use the shutter button, access the gallery, and return to the Home UI.
Camera Modes:
- Photo: Take photos and adjust settings.
- Video: Record videos (play/pause), record sound (microphone is on by default), and adjust settings.
- Time-lapse: Take time-lapse videos and adjust settings.
Time-lapse parameters include:
- Remaining time: Calculated based on number of photos, shutter speed, and interval.
- Final video length: Calculated based on number of photos and frame rate.
- Interval: 1-60s (1s default), adjustable by sliding/clicking.
- Number of photos: 10-2000, ∞ (unlimited), with various preset options (e.g., 10, 30, 50, 100, 2000).
- Frame rate: 24 (default), 25, 30, and 60.
IV. Display Settings
Adjust screen display settings:
- Vertical flip: Tap the slider to turn on (off by default).
- Horizontal flip: Tap the slider to turn on (off by default).
- Grid: Tap the slider to turn on (off by default).
- Resolutions: 1080P or 2K (2K default).
- Reset ISP settings: Tap "Reset" to restore default values.
V. Gallery
Access the gallery to manage photos and videos:
- Return: Go back to the Control UI.
- Select: Choose multiple photos/videos.
- Download: Save selected items to local storage.
- Delete: Remove selected photos/videos.
To download or delete a specific item, open it and tap the respective "download" or "delete" icon.
VI. Settings
In the Connected Device UI, tap "Settings" to access:
- Device Name
- Format TF Card
- Factory Reset
- Version Information (a red dot indicates a firmware update is available).
When a firmware update is available, tap "Version", then "Firmware Update". Tap "Confirm" to restart after a successful update. Failure reasons will be displayed if the update fails.
VII. Help
Tap the "Help" button in the Home UI to access the Help page and user manual.
VIII. Sidebar
In the Connected Device UI, tap the triple bar icon to expand the sidebar. Options include Album, Settings, and My Customer Service.
- Tap Album to go to the Album UI.
- Tap Settings to go to the Settings UI.
- Tap My Customer Service to go to the customer service UI for feedback.
Photos in the album can be viewed in portrait/landscape mode, shared, and deleted.
Safety Precautions
- Handle with care when unboxing to prevent unwanted scratches.
- Do not drop the product or subject it to severe impacts.
- Keep it away from fire, inflammables, and explosives.
- Keep away from strong acid liquid. Do not immerse in water or expose the product to moisture.
- Do not disassemble the product, except for the steps mentioned in this manual.
- Do not charge the product near fire or in heated environments.
