Instructions for Use
Before First Use
Before using the air fryer for the first time, clean the air fryer and accessories following the instructions in the 'Care and Maintenance' section. Place the air fryer main unit onto a stable, heat-resistant surface at a comfortable height. When using the air fryer for the first time, a slight smoke or odour may be emitted; this is normal and will subside. Allow for sufficient ventilation. It is advised to run the air fryer without food for approximately 10 minutes before first use to prevent initial smoke or odour from affecting food taste.
Assembling the Air Fryer
- Fit the non-stick coated cooking tray into the cooking compartment until it is seated securely.
- Slide the cooking compartment into the air fryer main unit to close it.
The air fryer comes preassembled. The cooking compartment must be closed securely before use, otherwise it will not work.
Using the Digital Control Panel
When plugged in and switched on, the unit beeps and the power button illuminates. Tap the power button to switch on the air fryer. The LED display shows '180 °C' by default. Time and temperature can be programmed using the '+/-' buttons or mode buttons. Some ingredients may require shaking halfway through cooking; remove the compartment, shake gently, and reinsert to continue. Once cooking is complete, the air fryer beeps and switches off. Check food readiness by pulling out the compartment. If not cooked, reinsert and adjust time/temperature. Empty contents into a bowl or plate using heat-resistant tongs if needed.
To switch off the air fryer, tap the power button again; it will switch off after 20 seconds. The power button remains illuminated while the unit is plugged in.
Storage
Check that the air fryer is cool, clean, and dry before storing in a cool, dry place. Wrap the cord loosely to avoid causing damage.
