Safety Warnings
- WARNING: The DXT Drift Trike requires greater skill than a standard tricycle and is not for young children. It is designed for forward movement and extreme sideways drifting. Use in open spaces, free of obstacles and traffic. Recommended for practiced riders aged 14 and up.
- Always wear safety equipment: helmet (chinstrap securely buckled), wrist guards, gloves, knee pads, and elbow pads.
- Always wear shoes.
- Parental supervision is crucial, based on child's maturity, skill, and ability to follow rules.
- The trike is manufactured for performance but is not impervious to damage. Trick riding can cause damage and the rider assumes all risks.
- Ride on smooth, paved surfaces away from motor vehicles and hazards. Avoid public roads.
- Avoid surfaces with water, sand, gravel, dirt, or leaves.
- Loose or wet surfaces can increase risks, including braking.
- Install the safety flag to increase visibility.
- Never hitch a ride with another vehicle.
- Do not ride at night or in reduced visibility conditions.
- Do not lean backwards when standing/riding on the rear wing.
- Sudden braking may result in being thrown forward.
- Use extra caution on steep or long hills; speed can increase quickly. Avoid excessive speeds to prevent loss of control or falls.
- Practice drifting skills in large, flat, smooth areas away from hazards.
- Check and obey all local traffic laws and regulations.
- Watch out for pedestrians.
- Check and secure all fasteners before every ride.
- Replace worn or broken parts immediately.
- Do not exceed 198 lb (90 kg) total weight.
- Do not allow children under fourteen (14) to use the trike.
- Rider's size and weight must be appropriate for control.
- Adult supervision is recommended. Use only in controlled environments free of traffic hazards.
- Maintain a hold of the handlebars at all times.
- Never allow more than one rider.
- Do not use near steps, sloped driveways, hills, roadways, alleys, or swimming pools.
- Do not ride in wet weather.
- Use on solid, clean, dry surfaces like pavement. Avoid mud, ice, puddles, or water.
- Avoid excessive speeds, especially on downhill rides.
- Do not ride at night or when visibility is impaired.
- Aggressive riding reduces maneuverability and control.
- People on TV doing tricks have practiced extensively and accept risks. Do not attempt without great risk.
- Always wear proper protective equipment, including an approved safety helmet.
- Wear closed-toe shoes with laces tied and out of the way of wheels. Never ride barefoot or in sandals.
- Long pants are recommended to reduce abrasion risk.
- WARNING: Always inspect the drift trike prior to riding.
- WARNING: Check local laws regarding use. Wear a helmet if required by law.
- FAILURE TO USE COMMON SENSE AND HEED THE ABOVE WARNINGS INCREASES RISK OF SERIOUS INJURY. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK AND WITH APPROPRIATE AND SERIOUS ATTENTION TO SAFE OPERATION. USE CAUTION.

3. Re-insert the bottom bushing into the downtube, then carefully slide the downtube between the upper and lower crowns.
4. Align the downtube with the hole in the upper and lower crown and re-insert the steering bolt. Securely tighten using a 5 mm Allen wrench and a 13 mm wrench.
5. Using a 13 mm wrench, re-tighten the two (2) bolts on the upper crown.
WARNING: Failing to properly tighten the steering bolt that attaches the front fork assembly to the frame assembly can cause you to lose control and fall.
Diagrams illustrate steps for attaching the front fork, including steering bolt and crown bolts.
Attaching the Handlebars
Required Tool: 6 mm Allen Wrench.
1. Place handlebars between the upper and lower handlebar clamps. Note: Make sure the brake lever is on the left (from sitting position).

Inflating the Tire
The front tire may lose pressure during shipping. Always inflate to the correct PSI before first use. Periodically check and reinflate as needed.
WARNING: Do not use the DXT for the first time until the tire is inflated to the correct PSI. Failure to do so may damage the trike and void your warranty.
WARNING: Do not overinflate, as this could damage the tire or wheel.
Note: Use short bursts when using air supplies from gasoline stations. Ensure the pressure gauge is working. Release excess pressure immediately if overinflated.
1. Using a bicycle tire pump equipped for a Schrader valve, inflate the front tire to the PSI indicated on the sidewall of the tire.
Diagram shows a bicycle pump being used to inflate the front tire.
Pre-Ride Checklist

Check and secure all fasteners before every ride. Replace worn or broken parts immediately.
Usage
Riding the DXT
- Place both hands on the handlebars and both feet on the pedals.
- Pedal the DXT to your desired riding speed.
- Coast when drifting.
- Straighten the front wheel before pedaling when a drift is completed.
Note: Keep both feet on the foot pedals when the unit is in motion.
WARNING: Drifting while pedaling may involve sharp turns of the front wheel, potentially causing contact with the rider's lower leg. Be aware of this risk and adjust foot position if necessary.
Diagram shows a rider on the DXT Drift Trike in a drifting position, with arrows indicating foot placement.
Stopping the DXT
To stop the unit, apply the brake by squeezing the brake lever until the unit comes to a complete stop.
Diagram shows a hand squeezing the brake lever.
Drifting the DXT
For best foot position when drifting, coast and "brace" yourself with the "inside" pedal on the turn. This helps control the drift and allows the "outside" leg to avoid contact with the wheel.
Diagrams show correct and incorrect foot positioning during a drift.
Repair and Maintenance
Rear Wheel Replacement
Required Tool: 16 mm Wrench.
1. Using a 16 mm wrench, loosen the locknut and remove the rear wheel(s).
2. Install replacement wheel(s) and tighten securely. Note the hardware sequence: Flat Washer, Spring Washer, Locknut.
Diagram shows rear wheel removal and installation, including hardware sequence.
Front Wheel Replacement
Required Tools: 5 mm Allen Wrench, 10 mm Wrench.
1. Squeeze both sides of the caliper brake together.
2. Slide the black rubber cover over and carefully release the brake cable from the cable hanger.
3. Using a 5 mm Allen wrench and a 10 mm wrench, loosen the four (4) bolts on the fork clamps (2 on each side) and remove the front wheel.
4. Install replacement front wheel and re-tighten bolts until securely in place. Ensure clamps are tightened evenly.
5. Squeeze caliper brake together and place brake cable back into the cable hanger. Note the correct position of the brake cable.
Diagrams illustrate steps for front wheel removal and installation, including brake cable management.
Adjusting the Brake
Required Tools: 5 mm Allen Wrench, 10 mm Wrench.
1. Using a 10 mm wrench, loosen the brake cable locknut. Squeeze the brake lever and carefully pull the brake cable outward to tighten tension or push inward to loosen tension.
2. Using a 5 mm Allen wrench, loosen the bolt on the brake pad to align it with the rim. Tighten the bolt to secure the brake pad. Repeat for the other side.
Diagrams show correct and incorrect brake pad alignment with the rim.
Cleaning
Wipe with a damp cloth to remove dirt and dust. Do not use industrial cleaners, solvents, alcohol, or ammonia-based cleaners, as they may damage surfaces or components.
Wheels and Bearings
Razor wheels and bearings are generally maintenance-free. Periodically inspect wheels for wear, axle tightness, bearing play, and loose parts. Replace worn wheels immediately with genuine Razor wheels. Worn wheels/bearings are normal wear and tear and not covered by warranty. Using non-genuine parts may affect safety and void the warranty.
