Case Overview
The MasterBox TD500 Mesh is a computer case designed for optimal airflow and aesthetics, featuring a mesh front panel and support for ARGB lighting.
Assembly Instructions
Step 1: Removing Side Panels
To begin assembly, remove the side panels of the case. This typically involves unscrewing specific fasteners or releasing latches.
Diagram shows two views of the case with arrows indicating how to remove the side panels.
Step 2: Installing Motherboard Standoffs
Install the motherboard standoffs (A) into the designated positions within the case chassis. Use screws (B) to secure them.
Diagram shows standoffs being screwed into the motherboard tray.
Step 3: Installing Motherboard
Carefully place the motherboard onto the standoffs and secure it with screws (B).
Diagram shows a motherboard being installed onto the standoffs.
Step 4: Installing Graphics Card (Optional)
If installing a graphics card, align it with the PCIe slot on the motherboard and secure it to the case chassis using screws (E).
Diagram shows a graphics card being installed into the case.
Step 5: Installing Storage Drives
3.5" HDD Installation: Mount the 3.5" HDD onto the drive bracket using screws (E). Slide the bracket into the designated bay and secure it. Diagram shows a 3.5" HDD being mounted onto a bracket and then inserted into the case.
2.5" SSD Installation: Mount the 2.5" SSD onto the drive bracket using screws (C). Slide the bracket into the designated bay and secure it. Diagram shows a 2.5" SSD being mounted onto a bracket and then inserted into the case.
Alternative 2.5" SSD Installation: Mount the 2.5" SSD directly onto the case chassis using screws (D). Diagram shows 2.5" SSDs being mounted directly onto the case.
Step 6: Installing Fans
Front Fan Installation (120/140mm): Mount the fans to the front of the case using the provided screws. Ensure correct airflow direction. Diagram shows fans being mounted to the front of the case.
Top Fan Installation (120/140mm): Mount fans to the top of the case using the provided screws. Diagram shows fans being mounted to the top of the case.
Rear Fan Installation (120mm): Mount a 120mm fan to the rear of the case using the provided screws. Diagram shows a 120mm fan being mounted to the rear of the case.
Step 7: Installing Radiator (Optional)
The case supports various radiator sizes (120/140/240/280/360mm). Mount the radiator and fans to the designated locations (front, top, or rear) using the appropriate screws.
Diagrams show radiator and fan mounting options at the front, top, and rear of the case.
Step 8: Connecting ARGB Components
Connect the ARGB fans and other ARGB components to the ARGB Hub (H) and ARGB Controller (G) using the provided cables (I).
Diagrams illustrate the connection of ARGB fans to the hub and controller, and the controller to the motherboard and power supply.
ARGB Controller Connections: The ARGB controller (G) can connect to various motherboard ARGB headers (e.g., 3-pin Gigabyte, 3-pin ASUS/MSI/ASROCK) and receives power via SATA from the PSU. Diagram shows the ARGB controller with connections for motherboard ARGB headers and SATA power.
Fan Connection: Connect the fans to the ARGB Hub (H) via the provided splitter cables (I). The hub connects to the ARGB controller. Diagram shows multiple fans connected to the ARGB hub, which then connects to the controller.
Step 9: Final Connections
Connect the ARGB controller (G) to the motherboard's 3-pin ARGB header (if applicable) and to the PSU via SATA power. Connect the reset switch to the controller if desired.
Diagram shows the ARGB controller connected to the motherboard and PSU, with an optional connection for the reset switch.
