System Requirements & Connectivity
Minimum System Requirements
Intel® Core™ i5 or higher CPU, AMD Ryzen™ 5 or higher CPU, USB 3.0 or Higher Port.
8K Wireless Dongle
Connect the 8K Wireless Dongle to a USB 3.0 or Higher Port. For optimal performance, ensure the distance between the mouse and dongle is within 50cm (19.6 inches).
Dongle Indicator
LED1: Connection Status / Battery / Battery Warning
This LED indicates the mouse's battery status and connection. You can see the mouse battery status on the right LED1.
LED2: Polling Rate / Motion Sync / LOD
The LED color changes based on settings for turning off the LED, polling rate, motion sync, and Lift-Off Distance (LOD). Only one of these options can be selected to control the LED display.
Pairing Instructions
Pairing with the 8K Dongle
- Download and run the Pulsar Mouse software.
- In the program settings, click the pairing button.
- Press and hold the left, right, and wheel mouse buttons simultaneously for more than 3 seconds. The LED will blink to indicate that pairing has started. Alternatively, click 'Start Pairing' according to the program instructions to enter pairing mode.
Note: Pairing is only available with a wired connection.
Polling Rate & Battery Indicator
8K Polling Rate
Using the software, you can set the polling rate to 125, 250, 500, 1000, 2000, 4000, or 8000Hz.
Battery Indicator
Charging: Red LED
Low Battery: Blinking LED (under 15%)
Fully Charged: Blue LED
DPI & LOD Settings
DPI Settings (Fine Tune)
The DPI button on the bottom allows for 6 levels of DPI adjustment. Using the software, you can adjust from 50 DPI to 32000 DPI in increments of 1.
Color Change Based on DPI Settings
- 400 DPI: Light Blue (Default)
- 800 DPI: Blue
- 1600 DPI: Green
- 3200 DPI: Yellow
- 6400 DPI: Orange
- 12800 DPI: Pink
LOD (Lift-Off Distance)
LOD refers to the minimum height at which the sensor detects the distance from the surface when the mouse is lifted. This value can be set to 0.7mm, 1mm, or 2mm.

How to Install the UHMW-PE dot SKATE
- Step 1: Remove existing skates
Remove the existing skates from the mouse. - Step 2: Clean the surface
Clean the surface and ensure there is no residue. - Step 3: Attach new skates
Attach the UHMW-PE skates to the mouse, aligning them with the grooves. - Step 4: Secure the skates
Press the skates firmly with your fingers to secure them.
