IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING! When using this appliance always exercise basic safety precautions including the following:
- Disconnect the power supply when cleaning or inspecting the product.
- Do not damage or place heavy objects on the power cord.
- There must be adequate ventilation of the room when the range hood is used at the same time as appliances burning gas or other fuels. (A partial vacuum in the room could result in too high a concentration of gas in the air).
- Never expose the range hood to a burner or element that is turned on without a pot or pan covering it.
- The minimum distance between the support surface of the cooking vessel on the cooktop and the lowest part of the range hood should be at least 650mm. If the gas stove installation instructions specify a larger installation distance, this should be considered.
- Never use aluminium foil on the cooktop.
- If using shared ducting, the air outlet must be well secured and sealed.
- Exhaust gases must not be discharged into a hot flue being used to vent appliances burning gas or other fuels.
- Do not flambe directly under the range hood.
- This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
- The range hood is only intended to be installed over a hob with no more than four hob elements.
- There is a fire risk if cleaning is not carried out in accordance with the instructions.
- If installation is performed by a qualified person, the product should be tested to confirm proper operation, and the correct use of the product explained to the user.
- If the power supply cord is damaged, it must only be replaced by your Haier trained and supported service technician or qualified person.
- Use a dedicated power outlet; the power cord must not be connected to an extension cord or multi-socket power board. Secure grounding is required, and the power cord should be 2000mm in length.
- Regulations regarding the discharge of air must be fulfilled.
- This appliance is an external exhaust hood; air and smoke is discharged to the outside through the air duct. To properly exhaust air ensure the duct is straight.
- Do not clean the inside of the range hood. If you need to clean the inside, please contact your Haier trained and supported service technician.
- The appliance shall be able to work normally under the following environmental conditions: temperature -15°C ~ 40°C, relative humidity ≤ 90% (at 25°C), altitude ≤ 1000m.

Installation Steps
Mounting Fixture
- As shown in Figure 1, identify the installation position for the fastening parts (host hook board) on the wall. Ensure the position is kept horizontal and not tilted.
- Drill a 8mm diameter hole approximately 55 mm deep into the wall. Avoid drilling holes that are too large, as this can lead to loose plastic expansion tubes and potential failure.
- Install the plastic expansion tube into the hole and fasten the mounting parts to the wall with wood screws.
Fixed Host
Hang the range hood unit onto the host hook board on the wall. Ensure the unit and the hook board are securely fastened and fit together without any shaking or loosening.
Fix the Stop Screw
Press the stop screw on the top surface of the housing to ensure it fits into the main machine securely, preventing any looseness (as shown in Figure 2).
Install the Oil Cup
Push the oil cup along its bayonet at the lower part of the fume collection cavity.
Install Check Valve Components
As shown in Figure 3, tighten the check valve components and the check valve gasket at the outlet of the main engine using eight M4*20 screws.
Connect the Universal Air Duct
- Insert the universal duct into the groove of the check valve seat and fasten it to the check valve assembly with two ST3*8 self-tapping screws.
- Connect the other side of the universal duct directly to the public flue or through a hole in the wall. The hole diameter on the wall should be Ø 190 mm.
- The length of the universal air duct shall not exceed 3000mm, and it should have no more than two bends to ensure efficient smoke exhaust.
Install the Outer Decorative Cover
Take out the outer decorative cover. Connect it with the decorative cover hook board and fix it. Then, align the hole on the outer decorative cover with the screw on the roof, gently push the cover backward, and connect it with the hood, securing it with screws.

Cleaning and Maintenance
Cleaning and Maintenance Preparation
- Before cleaning or maintaining the range hood, be sure to remove the power plug.
- Please wear rubber gloves when cleaning or maintaining to prevent injury from metal parts.
- When cleaning and maintenance, carefully remove parts to avoid deformation.
- Please clean and maintain the range hood regularly according to your usage frequency and surrounding environment.
Cleaning Main Body
- After using the range hood everyday, wipe the airframe surface.
- To protect the coating on the body's surface, use a neutral detergent and a soft cloth. Do not use toothpaste, washing brushes, or other bristle brushes.
- Do not use gasoline, alcohol, or other corrosive chemical reagents, nor toothpaste, detergent, or washing powder with a grinding function to wipe the surface.
Oil Cup
Hold the oil cup with both hands horizontally and pull it outward to remove it. When the oil stored in the oil cup reaches a certain amount, it should be cleaned promptly to prevent overflow.
Clean Oil Guide Plate
- First, open the glass panel, then hold the oil guide plate with both hands and push upward to remove it (as shown in Figure 4).
- It is recommended to wash the oil guide plate using warm water and detergent immersion for a period of time. Wipe the oil guide plate with a cloth, then rinse again with water.
- Every day after using the range hood, lightly wipe the outer surface of the oil guide plate. It is recommended to clean the inside of the oil guide plate once a week.
Clean the Impeller
- Special care should be taken when cleaning the impeller. Do not collide with or throw away the clamp on the blade, as this can affect the impeller's dynamic balance, leading to vibration and noise.
- It is recommended to clean the impeller every three months.
