1. Introduction
The Air Abrasion System with spray is a safe and reliable instrument designed to provide a very small abrasive flow, using water mist to restrain sand powder from scattering. It utilizes the power of compressed air to spray fine abrasive particles at high speed for quickly removing stubborn adhesions.
2. Safety
- Consult instructions for use.
- This instrument cannot be used in the human oral cavity.
- Do not mix anything in the abrasive to prevent blockage.
- Disassembly or modification is prohibited.
- Contact professionals for repair.
- Stop using the instrument immediately if there is obvious aging or abnormal phenomenon.
- Check and maintain regularly; do not use if maintenance is neglected.
- Only use the original connector to avoid damage.
3. Intended Use
This product is intended for use by qualified dentists during dental treatment for:
- Porcelain tooth bonding and comprehensive restoration, porcelain veneer bonding preparation.
- Maryland fixed bridge bonding preparation.
- Bonding preparation of brackets.
- Resin bonding preparation.
- Repair and replacement of porcelain teeth.
4. Contraindications
This instrument cannot be used in the human oral cavity.
5. Choice of Powder
The powder should be dry and loose. Wet powder can be baked at 120°C for half an hour.
- For removing stubborn adherents on treated surfaces: white alumina particles with a particle size of 90 microns.
- For bonding preparation on metal or non-metal surfaces: white alumina particles with a particle size of 50 microns.
- For surface polishing: white alumina particles with a size of 27 microns.

7. Device Overview

9. Instruction and Operation
- Connect the connector to the pipe of the dental chair.
- Ensure the powder level does not exceed the "MAX" mark (approximately 6ml per mark).
- Adjust air and water pressure to the required range. Press the foot pedal and hold the start/stop button to begin operation.
- Release the foot pedal and start/stop button to stop operation.
- Turn off the water supply when not in use.
10. Maintenance
- After connecting the air source, run the instrument several times to remove residual powder and prevent blockage. Ensure the powder bottle is empty.
- Disconnect the connector from the dental chair pipe. Use a three-way syringe to blow air through the connector pipe to drain any remaining water.
- When not in use, store the instrument and powder in a dry place.
11. Cleaning, Disinfection and Sterilization
- Unscrew the bottle. Use a three-way syringe to empty any remaining powder and water from the instrument.
- Wipe the surface with a damp cloth.
- Remove the spray head and clean it with water. Use a three-way syringe to flush out any remaining powder, then dry the head with air.
- Use a three-way syringe to clean any remaining powder from the cap and connector.
12. Troubleshooting
Problem | Solution |

Spray head is blocked | Unscrew the spray nozzle and flush it with water. |
The hole of the main rod is blocked | First unscrew the spray head. Use a tip to loosen the blockage, then press down the foot pedal and hold the start/stop button to discharge the blockage. |
Air or water leaks | Unscrew the spray head to check the sealing condition of the connection. If the O-ring is damaged, replace it. |
The hole of the spray head is blocked | Use a tip to clear the blockage. |
