Product Overview
The KeepRite NTC6 Gas Furnace is designed for efficient and quiet operation, offering an 80% AFUE efficiency range. It features enclosed burners for reduced noise, a hot surface pilot ignition device, and an induced draft combustion blower. The adjustable electronic fan control provides comfort with a low-speed continuous fan feature.

Heat Exchanger & Venting
The furnace utilizes a four-pass, non-welded, aluminized steel heat exchanger with a 20-year limited warranty. Venting is designed for Category I applications, adhering to installation instructions and local codes. An optional linerless chimney vent kit is approved for use.
Burner and Blower Assembly
The burner assembly features an in-shot monoport burner. The blower assembly is equipped with multispeed, prelubricated PSC motors that are dynamically balanced and resiliently mounted to minimize vibration and noise. The entire blower assembly is mounted on rails for easy servicing.
Cabinet and Wiring
The cabinet is prepainted and fully insulated. The wiring center includes a 40VA transformer, a color-coded wiring harness, and a terminal board for easy motor speed selection. Connections for electronic air cleaners and humidifiers are provided, and the unit is factory pre-wired.
Safety Features
- Flame sensor that constantly monitors flame, providing 100% gas shut-off if flame is not sensed.
- Redundant gas valve.
- High temperature limit control.
- Flue blockage pressure switch.
- Blower door interlock switch to prevent operation if the door is removed.
Installation
The furnace can be installed as an upflow unit or as a horizontal left or right furnace. It features a compact 40-inch design and is convertible to (LP) Propane Gas. The unit allows for zero-inch clearances on the sides and back. A twinning kit is available for operating two furnaces in tandem.
Important Notes:
- These furnaces are not designed for installation in corrosive atmospheres containing Chlorine, Fluorine, or other damaging chemicals.
- This furnace is not designed for use inside mobile homes, trailers, or recreational vehicles, as such use could result in property damage, bodily injury, and/or death.

The unit is designed for bottom or side return air. Return air through the back of the unit is not allowed.

Note on High CFM Applications: For NTC6100KF, NTC6100KJ, NTC6125KJ, & NTC6150KJ models above 1650 CFM, two side returns or a bottom return are required. Alternatively, the NAHA001TK 20" x 25" stand-off filter kit can be used for a single side return. To achieve 2000 CFM with the stand-off filter kit, a bottom return or two side filters are still necessary.
