SWC Cables (3.5MM)

Two options (A or B) are provided for connecting to the aftermarket radio's Steering Wheel Control (SWC) input. Use the appropriate 3.5mm to 4-pin cable for your radio.

  • Connect the 4-pin Molex connector to the SWRCR-59D module.
  • Connect the 3.5mm plug or Blue/Yellow wire to the aftermarket radio's SWC input.
  • Option A: Used for Alpine, Clarion radios.
  • Option B: Used for Atoto, Boss, Blaupunkt, Dual, Fahrenheit, Jensen, Nakamichi, Pioneer, Power Acoustik, Sony, Soundstream, and most off-brand radios.
  • Note: Cap or insulate any unused 3.5mm plug or Blue/Yellow wire.
  • For radios with SWC connections (SWC1, SWC2): If using Option B, cut off the 3.5mm plug and connect the wires as follows: RED to SWC Key 1, WHITE to SWC Key 2, SHIELD to SWC Ground. The shield connection may not be necessary if the radio only has SWC1 and SWC2 inputs.

For RAM ProMaster Vehicles:

  • The interface will not retain the Phone and Voice buttons.

Note on Jeep Renegade & Compass Vehicles:

Some Jeep Renegade and Jeep Compass vehicles may experience issues with factory dashboard chimes, interior alarms, turn signals, and hazard audible chimes not working or being inaudible.
