CRUX SOOCR-26 Radio Replacement for Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep Vehicles

PRODUCT FEATURES:

NOTES:

  1. The Front and Rear fading are NON-Adjustable on amplified systems.
  2. Also supports radio replacement in vehicles with 4.3" and 8.4" color screens.
  3. If vehicle is equipped with Steering Wheel Controls use part# SWRCR-59.
  4. If you require a dash kit with SWC interface use part# DKCR-59K.

INSTALLATION DIAGRAM:

The SOOCR-26 includes 2 harnesses for older and new model vehicles. See installation diagrams below for each harness.

1st Generation Harness

Wiring connections for the 1st Generation Harness:

Corresponding wire colors:

A diagram shows the connection to the factory harness, aftermarket radio, audio filter, and a 12-pin black connector. The diagram indicates connections for 'AFTERMARKET RADIO' and 'TO FACTORY HARNESS'.

*Does not supply Reverse Trigger on Manual Transmissions. Reverse trigger wire from the aftermarket radio and/or camera power must be connected to factory reverse light wire instead.

2nd Generation Harness

Wiring connections for the 2nd Generation Harness:

Corresponding wire colors:

A diagram shows the connection to the factory harness, aftermarket radio, audio filter, and a 12-pin black connector. The diagram indicates connections for 'AFTERMARKET RADIO' and 'TO FACTORY HARNESS'.

NOTE: Constant & Ground Pins are isolated.

*Does not supply Reverse Trigger on Manual Transmissions. Reverse trigger wire from the aftermarket radio and/or camera power must be connected to factory reverse light wire instead.

Speaker wire connections:

Wire the audio filter using the connection chart below. Plug the 4 pin Molex plug found on the 1st or 2nd generation harness to the corresponding 4 pin Molex socket on the audio filter. (Amplified or Non-Amplified)

NON AMPLIFIED SYSTEMS

Plug the 4-pin Molex connector to the NON-AMPLIFIED side of the inline filter.

AMPLIFIED SYSTEMS

Plug the 4-pin Molex connector to the AMPLIFIED side of the inline filter.

Amplified vehicle troubleshooting: Bluetooth may be inaudible when installing select aftermarket radios. Therefore hook the rear SOOCR-26 speakers to the aftermarket radio front speakers.

FOR 4.3" AND 8.4" SCREEN REPLACEMENT:

When replacing the radio with a 4.3” OR 8.4” screen, you will need to tap the CAN signals along with Power, Ground, and Speakers from the factory White 22-Pin connector. Tap the wires as shown below. Again, these connections are made on the factory White 22-pin connector.
