About Your Wahl Trimmer

This document provides instructions for the Wahl 9916 and 9918 rechargeable trimmers. Please read all instructions before use.

Charging Instructions

Plug the charging cord into the trimmer and then into an electrical outlet.

Allow the trimmer to charge for 12 hours for a full charge.

Once fully charged, the trimmer can be used cordless for approximately 60 minutes.

Usage Instructions

For Model 9916 (Rechargeable)

Ensure the trimmer is fully charged before first use.
Select the desired guide comb attachment.
Turn the trimmer on using the power switch.
Move the trimmer against the direction of hair growth for a clean cut.
Clean the trimmer after each use.

For Model 9918 (Cord/Cordless)

The trimmer can be used plugged in or cordless after charging.
Select the desired guide comb attachment.
Turn the trimmer on using the power switch.
Move the trimmer against the direction of hair growth for a clean cut.
Clean the trimmer after each use.

Guide Comb Attachments

Your trimmer comes with several guide comb attachments for different cutting lengths:

1.6 mm
3.2 mm
4.8 mm
2 mm
12 mm
10 mm
8 mm
6 mm
4 mm
2 mm

Maintenance and Cleaning

After each use, remove hair clippings from the trimmer blades using the cleaning brush.

Apply a drop of Wahl Clipper Oil (not included) to the blades periodically to ensure smooth operation.

Do not immerse the trimmer in water.

Store the trimmer in a cool, dry place.

Troubleshooting

Trimmer not cutting properly: Ensure blades are clean and oiled. Check if the trimmer is fully charged or plugged in correctly.

Trimmer not charging: Make sure the charging cord is securely connected to both the trimmer and the power outlet. Try a different outlet.
