Turning the Sound Box On/Off

To turn on the Dogtra Sound Box, hold the on/off button until you see a light. After releasing the button, the light will blink every four seconds. To turn off the Sound Box, hold the on/off button until you see a red LED light, and then it will turn off.

Charging the Sound Box

The Sound Box comes with rechargeable Ni-MH Batteries. Use the 12-volt, 300mA charger to fully charge before the first use. A full charge period is 10 hours, and the red LED light will stay on during charging. The Sound Box will double-blink a red light every four seconds when it needs to be charged.

Coding the Sound Box

Follow these steps to code the Sound Box to your e-collar transmitter:

1. Ensure the handheld transmitter is turned on and the stimulation level is set to the lowest level ("0" for most units and "1" for EDGE RT).
2. With the Sound Box turned off, hold the on/off button on the Sound Box until the LED light begins to rapidly blink.
3. While the LED light is rapidly blinking, press the pairing combination buttons on your handheld transmitter. Refer to your specific e-collar model's instructions for the correct button combination.
4. Once paired, the rapidly blinking LED light will change to blink every 4 seconds.

Note: The Sound Box can only be coded to one e-collar at a time. Please choose the e-collar you wish to pair it with.

Type 1

Effective SKUs: 200C, 280C, ARC WETLANDS, ARC HANDSFREE, COMBO, 1900S, 1900S BLACK EDITION, 1900S WETLANDS

Action: Press the Nick and Constant buttons simultaneously.

Type 2

Effective SKUs: ARC, 282C, 1902S, 202C

Action: Press the two black or two orange buttons simultaneously, depending on which e-collar you want to code.

Type 3

Effective SKUs: iQ PLUS

Action: Select the dog position with the toggle switch, then press the Nick and Constant buttons simultaneously.

Type 4

Effective SKUs: EDGE RT

Action: Select the dog position you want to code. Press the top orange button on the front of the transmitter and the Pager button on the back of the transmitter simultaneously.

Type 5

Effective SKUs: EDGE

Action: Select the Constant mode. Press the color of the e-collar you wish to code.

Test Before Demonstration Use

Once paired, it is recommended to test the Sound Box by pressing the Constant stimulation button before using it for demonstration. When you hear the beeping sound, try changing the stimulation level to see if the volume from the Sound Box changes. For any technical issues, please call Dogtra Customer Service at (888) 811-9111.

For Dogtra Products Purchased from Dogtra Authorized Dealers

One-Year Warranty

Except as otherwise provided, Dogtra warrants to the original retail purchaser that its products shall be free of defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase. The warranty covers the cost of repair (parts and labor) or replacement (if repair is not feasible) of a defective product. For repaired or replaced products, the remaining portion of the original warranty period, or ninety (90) days, whichever is longer, shall apply. Dogtra, at its sole discretion, shall determine whether to repair or replace a product.

Warranty Conditions

The warranty is not transferable and applies only if: (1) You are the original retail purchaser, (2) You bought the product from a Dogtra authorized dealer, and (3) You present a receipt or other proof of purchase showing a valid purchase date, the authorized dealer's name and address, and the product's model and/or serial number.

Warranty Exclusions

The warranty does not cover damage, loss, or deterioration caused by misuse, neglect, abuse, improper handling, failure to follow instructions, use for unintended purposes, accident, natural forces (fire, flooding), or normal wear and tear (scratches). It also does not cover products purchased from non-authorized dealers, outside the United States or Canada, damaged during shipment, modified or tampered with, opened or repaired by unauthorized personnel, or with altered/defaced serial numbers.

Sole Warranty

This is the only warranty offered by Dogtra. Dogtra disclaims all other representations or warranties, whether oral or written. No dealer, employee, or agent of Dogtra is authorized to make any additions, changes, or extensions to this warranty. Dogtra reserves the right to modify the warranty at any time.

Disclaimer of Other Warranties

THE FOREGOING WARRANTY IS PROVIDED IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. DOGTRA DISCLAIMS ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

Limitation of Remedies

Dogtra's liability is limited to the cost of repair or replacement of the Dogtra product under warranty. Any claim to enforce the warranty must be commenced within thirty (30) days of the warranty's expiration. Dogtra is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar damages based on breach of warranty, contract, negligence, strict tort, or other legal theories related to Dogtra products. This includes loss of income, profits, revenue, savings, use of products, cost of substitute products or services, inconvenience, downtime, loss of goodwill, claims of third parties, and damage to property.

Legal Rights May Vary By State or Jurisdiction

The warranty grants specific legal rights, and you may have other rights that vary by state or jurisdiction. Some states/jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations on implied warranties or incidental/consequential damages, so some of these limitations may not apply to you. If any portion of the warranty is held invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining portions will remain in full force and effect, and the invalid portion will be modified to achieve the warranty's intent.

Product Registration

Dogtra recommends customers register their products as soon as possible after purchase to facilitate future warranty service. Registration may also provide useful information and updates about Dogtra products. To register, visit www.dogtra.com/product-registration. If your product is not registered, you will need to provide a receipt or other proof of purchase for warranty service.

How to Obtain Warranty Service

For warranty service, please contact Dogtra Customer Service by phone or email for an evaluation. Upon approval, Dogtra will repair or replace your product at no charge for labor or parts. You are responsible for shipping costs to Dogtra for warranty service. Dogtra will cover shipping costs for repaired or replaced products back to customers in the USA. Dogtra is not responsible for shipping costs, taxes, or fees for products sent to Canada; these will be borne by the customer.
