Safety Precautions
- The gross weight rating of the trailer must not exceed 88LBS (40 KG).
- Children must not be transported in the trailer until they can sit safely on their own.
- The child must have at least 100 mm head clearance (spacing between the top edge of the safety helmet and the upper edge of the frame structure) to reduce the risk of injuries to the child if the trailer should roll over.
- The child must always be strapped in when the trailer is moving.
- Never leave the child unsupervised in the child trailer.
- Do not make any technical modifications to the trailer.
- Do not apply any additional loads to the tow bar.
- Max. speed: 10MPH (16 KM/H).
- Do not use the trailer on very stony or otherwise dangerous roads.
- Always be extremely careful in road traffic to avoid any danger.
- When cycling with the child trailer, please note that the braking distance and turning circle is larger than just the bicycle on its own.
- The cyclist on the bicycle pulling the child trailer should be at least 18 years old and in good form.
- The cyclist or the child should wear a safety helmet during the ride.
- The trailer may be used to transport one child not older than 7 years.
- Optionally, a disabled person can be transported. The age restriction does not apply in this case.
- Ensure that the bicycle pulling the trailer is in perfect technical condition.
- It is recommended to fit rear-view mirrors to the bicycle pulling the trailer.
- Before every ride, check that all parts fit correctly, particularly the fastening of the quick coupling and the wheels.
- The cover must always be closed during the ride to protect the child from any injuries which could be caused by road dirt and little stones.
- The lighting must always be switched on in the twilight.
- Every time you cycle with the child trailer, check that the batteries still have sufficient energy (see battery indicator).
- Always strap your child in.
- Make sure that the safety belts are adjusted and fastened correctly.
- We cannot accept any liability for third-party accessory parts.
- The child trailer must only be pulled by bicycles whose user manual includes specific permission from the manufacturer for use with a trailer.
- The retailer should check the deceleration of the bicycle plus trailer to ensure that the following required values are met. Deceleration of bicycle plus trailer (full braking) with a total mass of 308LBS (140 KG): Front wheel brake: a 3.4 m/s² (dry) / 2.2 m/s² (wet); Rear wheel brake: a 2.2 m/s² (dry) / 1.4 m/s² (wet).
- The gross weight rating of the unbroken trailer must not exceed 88LBS (40 KG).
- Practice somewhere safe with weights in the trailer (max. load) to get used to how the bicycle and trailer react together. Practice in particular going round bends, uphill and downhill gradients, braking in an emergency and starting off with the trailer on the back of the bicycle, on different road surfaces.
- Fit the supplied pennant to make the bicycle and trailer more noticeable.
- Before setting off with the bicycle and trailer, make sure that there is sufficient air pressure in the tyres, because inadequate air pressure in the tyres can change the behaviour of the bicycle and trailer.
- When the trailer is connected up, there is an increased risk of the bicycle itself tipping over when at a standstill. Particularly when the luggage rack is full, make sure that the bicycle stands in a stable position (great care is advised especially when using a child seat). In this case we recommend a double stand.

Assembly
1. Assembly of hitch arm
Lift the trailer up. Remove the safety pin from the back hole in the two-bar mount. Swivel the tow bar 180°. Lock the tow bar into place by re-inserting the safety pin.
WARNING! The two bar safety pins must be locked into place before using the trailer. A tow bar that has not secured properly could come loose during travel, resulting in serious injury or death.
2. Assembly of the parking brake
- Remove the nuts from the parking brake.
- Insert the two long bolts through the holes in the trailer frame, from side to outside.
- Place nuts on these bolts, then tighten the nuts and bolts with a hex key.
(Visuals show the parking brake mechanism and bolt insertion.)
3. Installing the Wheels
- Turn the unit on its back.
- Slide each Wheel Shaft (A) into the Trailer Axle (B).
- Press the Lock Button (C) until the Wheel locks into position and cannot be pulled out.
- Repeat for the opposite side.
NOTE: To remove the Wheel, push in the Lock Button and pull the Wheel out of the Axle.
(Visuals show wheel insertion into the axle and the lock button.)
4. Assemble the stroller wheel
Insert the stroller wheel pole into the mount bracket, use the safety pin to lock it as per following steps. Please make sure it is locked safely.
(Visuals show attaching the front stroller wheel with a safety pin.)
5. Install the central bar and attaching seat
Line up the two side panels and lock them with the safety pins on both sides. Install the central bar with the fabric seat (at the top of the side panels) by inserting one end into one of the plastic central bar catches on top of the side panel.
NOTE: Press the clip to unlock the central bar.
(Visuals show aligning side panels, inserting the central bar into clips.)
6. Attaching the handle bar holder
Attach the two handlebar mounting tubes to the frame on the rear panel. With the open end of the mounting tube facing up, align the holes on the tube to the holes on the frame. Insert screws through the tube and holes in the frame and attach 10mm nuts from the inside of the cabin. Tighten firmly by using a screwdriver and wrench.
(Visuals show attaching the mounting tubes to the frame.)
7. Closing the hood
To cover the trailer, pull down the hood and secure it on both sides using the three Velcro fasteners (Pos. a). The back of the hood can likewise be secured using the Velcro fastener.
(Visuals show closing the hood and securing it with Velcro.)
8. Attach the handlebar
Slide the ends of the handlebars into the mounting tubes, align the holes and insert the safety pins and lock.

- C - Locking pin
(Visuals show the assembled coupling components.)
10. Fixing the fastening plate
To remove the fastening plate, open the securing ring in the draw-bar and pull out the pin. You can now remove the fastening plate from the draw-bar. Fixing it to the rear bicycle axle: Remove the entire axle in the case of axles with quick action tension jacks, push the fastening plate (A) onto the nut and re-install the axle. In the case of axles fastened using a hexagon nut, screw off the nut together with the washer. Place the fastening plate (A) on the axle and screw in the nut again with the washer.
(Visuals show removing the pin, and attaching the plate to the axle.)
11. Attaching the coupling
Connect the coupling piece (B) on the draw-bar with the plate (A) fixed to the bicycle and secure it with the pin (C).
IMPORTANT: Make sure that the cotter pin has been securely positioned. (The round end must lock properly).
(Visuals show connecting the coupling piece to the plate and securing with the pin.)
12. Securing the coupling
When the draw-bar has been mounted, pull the safety belt through the back end brace of the bicycle and hook it into the holding device on the draw-bar (see figure). Important: Connecting the bicycle and the trailer is the most important assembly procedure. Satisfy yourself to the full that the trailer and bicycle have been securely connected.
(Visuals show routing the safety belt.)
13. Assembling and fixing the pennant
Join the two parts of the safety pennant. Before you use the trailer, mount the safety flag in the guide track provided on the outside of the left side section. This is very important as, otherwise, motorists may not be able to see you.
(Visuals show assembling and attaching the safety flag.)
14. Using the five point seat harness
The harness system in your foldable trailer is designed to keep your passengers immobilized and secure during transport. The harness is designed to accommodate one or two children.
- Disconnect shoulder strap clips by pressing the middle point.
- Place child in seat. If carrying a single passenger, place child in the middle of the trailer seat.
- Put one strap over each shoulder and connect to the crotch strap.
- Adjust shoulder crotch straps to be snug and secure.
- Fasten lap belt and tighten securely.
Never ride without securing passengers in the Five point Harness. Unrestrained passengers can affect bike handling; and they may be more likely to be injured in the event of an accident.
(Visuals show the harness system and diagrams of children secured.)
Maintenance
- Check at regular intervals all the pins and lock any retaining clips that have come loose. Loose pins can result in a risk of serious personal injury and/or material damage.
- Repair or replace damaged, missing or broken parts before use. Only use parts and accessories recommended by the manufacturer.
- Only use the same type of tyres. Do not use BMX or terrain tyres.
- Treat the bike trailer hood and fabric parts every 6 months to make them rainproof.
Storage
- All parts should be clean and dry before putting them into storage.
- Store the bike trailer in a dry place.
- Protect the bike trailer from direct sunlight.
- Store the bike trailer at a temperature from 5 to 20°C, out of the reach of children.
