Conducted Testing at Antenna Port
Antenna Requirement
The EUT utilizes a PCB antenna with a directional gain of 1.5 dBi, designed for permanent attachment. This configuration meets the requirements of FCC 15.203, FCC 15.204, and RSS-Gen 6.4, 6.8.
6dB & 99% Bandwidth
Tests were conducted at 2402MHz, 2440MHz, and 2480MHz. The 6dB bandwidths measured were approximately 1.188 MHz for 2402MHz and 2440MHz, and 1.069 MHz for 2480MHz. The 99% occupied bandwidths were also measured and found to be within specifications.
Output Power
Peak output power measurements at 2402MHz, 2440MHz, and 2480MHz were 9.0 dBm, 8.9 dBm, and 9.2 dBm respectively, all within the 30 dBm limit.
Power Spectral Density
Power Spectral Density measurements at 2402MHz, 2440MHz, and 2480MHz were -3.805 dBm, -3.913 dBm, and -3.701 dBm respectively, all below the 8.0 dBm limit.
Conducted Band Edge and Out-of-Band Emissions
Conducted emissions at the band edge and out-of-band frequencies were tested and found to be compliant with FCC Part 15.247(d) and RSS-247 Clause 5.5.
Emission in the Frequency Range up to 30MHz
Conducted Emission
Conducted emissions were measured on both Line (L) and Neutral (N) conductors. The results, presented in tables and graphs, show compliance with FCC Part 15.207(a) and RSS-Gen Clause 8.8 limits.
Emission in the Frequency Range above 30MHz
Radiated Band-Edge
Radiated band-edge emissions were tested at 2402MHz and 2480MHz for both horizontal (H) and vertical (V) polarizations. The measurements indicate compliance with the specified limits.
Radiated Spurious Emission
Radiated spurious emissions were tested across various frequency ranges (30MHz to 1GHz, 1GHz to 7GHz, 7GHz to 18GHz, and 18GHz to 25GHz) for both horizontal and vertical polarizations. The test results, detailed in tables and graphs, demonstrate compliance with FCC Part 15.247(d), FCC Part 15.209(a), and RSS-Gen/RSS-247 requirements. No emissions were found in the 18GHz to 25GHz range.
