Getting Started

App Downloading

Scan the QR code to install the Pairing APP. Compatible with iOS 9.0 / Android 5.0 & above. If software is not the latest version, the APP may not work properly. Post registration of your X4, warranty will be activated and regular firmware updates will be provided to upgrade software version.

Switching ON the MAX PRO X4 watch

(Long press side button for 3 to 4 seconds till the screen turns on)

Watch & APP Connecting

Turn on your phone’s Bluetooth ? and GPS ?. Make sure the watch is not connected to any other devices. Download the [Coolwear/YFit App]. Tap on MAX PRO X4 to pair it.

Charging

Before you use the Watch for the first time, please charge it fully to ensure the Watch has sufficient power & optimized battery. If reusing the Watch after a long period, charge for at least 2 hours to activate the battery, but do not overcharge. Ensure the Watch is charged every month when not in use. If 5% battery capacity is left, the Watch will automatically switch to power-saving mode, disabling all functions. Please use standard accessories for charging, choosing a charger with an output voltage/current of 5V/500mA or 1A. The two charging thimbles of charging accessories must not come in contact with metal objects when energized to avoid short circuit or fire. DO NOT USE A QUICK CHARGER.

Note: Charging pins are located on the watch.

Battery Life

Your Max Pro X4 watch is optimized to deliver maximum battery life, providing up to 14-15 days under typical usage conditions. Standby time denotes battery performance on a single charge when not connected to a smartphone.

Usage Scenarios:

• Typical Usage (10-11 days): Default dial, manual heart rate, 4-5 app alerts, 75% brightness, sleep monitoring enabled, wrist raise 100 times/day.
• Heavy Usage (5-6 days): Customized dial, automatic heart rate on, 7-8 app alerts, 80%-90% brightness, sleep monitoring enabled, wrist raise 100 times/day.
• Standby (30 days): Bluetooth off, using watch for normal functions.
• Typical Run Time (10-15 days): Default dial, manual heart rate, 2-3 app alerts, 50%-60% brightness.

Key Features

1. Customizing Watch Faces

Personalize your X4 watch with pre-loaded watch faces from the Coolwear/YFit App. You can also use your own pictures. Navigate to 'Device' in the app, select 'Watch Faces', tap 'Edit', choose/take a picture from your album, crop as desired, and click 'OK' to sync the image as your watch face.

2. Step Tracking

The watch records steps, distance, and calories burned. Other fitness data synchronizes to the APP. It resets daily after 00:00, with historical records available in the APP. Today's summary: 1827 steps, 68 kcal, 1.38 km distance, 18 minutes activity time.

3. Sleep Tracking

Your X4 records sleep time, including deep and light sleep duration. View detailed sleep records via the APP. Default sleep statistics period: 8:00 PM - 8:00 AM.

4. Sport Modes

Supports multiple sport modes: Walk, Run, Cycling, Climb, Yoga, Basketball, Football, Badminton, Skip, and Swim. Press the home button to pause/stop. Exercise data synchronizes to the APP for detailed records. Note: The watch does not have built-in GPS; it uses the mobile's GPS for tracking when in sport mode.

5. Heart Rate Monitoring

Enter the heart rate interface to start measurement (takes 2-30 seconds). For automatic heart rate monitoring, enable 'Automatic heart rate detection' in the APP under 'Device'. This provides more detailed analysis but may decrease battery life.

6. Breath Training (Stress Buster)

Enter the breath training interface, choose time and rhythm (e.g., 1 minute, slow rhythm). Click the breathing icon ? to start. Breathing training helps reduce stress and improve well-being.

7. Blood Oxygen Monitoring

Uses PPG measurement via a light sensor to measure blood oxygen saturation. Wear the watch snugly (not too tight) and start measuring. Results display in 20-25 seconds, with historical data stored in the APP. Results are for personal reference only.

8. Messages

Receive smartphone message notifications with vibration and content display. The watch can save the latest 5 messages, with new messages overwriting older ones. This includes SMS and other app notifications.

9. News

Activate app alerts from your favorite news apps for instant updates on your smartwatch. Supported news sources mentioned: NDTV, BBC News, Aaj Tak.

10. Weather

View current and next two days' weather. Requires connection to the Watch and APP. Weather information is provided by the mobile service provider.

11. Shutter

Control your mobile camera remotely. In the APP, go to [Device] > [Easy camera]. On the watch, swipe right from the main interface and tap 'Shutter' ?. Shake the smartwatch to take pictures.

12. Music Control

Play and control music from your smartphone via the watch. View song titles, use next/previous buttons, play/pause ▶️, and control music volume.

13. Find Phone & Stopwatch

Use the 'Find Phone' function ?? to track your connected mobile device. The 'Stopwatch' ⏱️ function is also available.

14. Settings

Access various settings: Watch Face, QR code, Screen Sleep, Brightness, Power Off, Reset, Find Phone, Stopwatch.

15. Sedentary Reminder

Enable/disable 'Idle alert' in the APP under [Device] > [Idle alert]. The watch vibrates to remind you if there's no activity or if step count is low within a period.

16. Call Reminder

Enable/disable reminders for incoming calls in the APP under [Device] > [Call reminder]. The watch can display messages or reject calls but cannot answer or reply.

17. Alarm

Set up to 5 alarms ⏰ in the APP under [Device] > [Alarm]. Alarms trigger if the set time is more than 2 minutes away.

18. Wake Screen on Wrist Raising

The screen automatically lights up when you flip your arm.

19. Water Resistance

The watch has an IP68 water resistance rating ?, supporting cold water showers and swimming, but not diving. Screen touch does not support underwater operation. Wipe the watch with a soft cloth before operating if wet.

20. ROHS Compliance

The Max Pro X4 is ROHS compliant ♻️, reflecting Maxima's commitment to environmental sustainability.

21. Firmware Upgrade

Upgrade firmware via the Pairing App: [Pairing App] > [Device] > [Firmware upgrade] > [Upgrades].

FAQ / Troubleshooting

1. APP cannot detect or pair with the smartwatch.

• Confirm smartphone version (Android 5.0+ / iOS 9.0+). Ensure notification permissions are ON.
• Confirm Bluetooth ? and GPS ? are ON.
• Move smartphone close to the smartwatch and search again.
• If issues persist, check smartphone settings: Settings > App & Notifications > Permissions > Grant all permissions to Coolwear/YFit App.

2. Watch not receiving messages.

• Ensure the pairing APP is running on the phone.
• Ensure you are logged into the required apps on the connected smartphone. Notifications read on other devices may not appear on the watch.
• Ensure the smartphone's notification center is open. If a message isn't in the phone's notification bar, it won't show on the watch. Check: [Smartphone] > [Settings] > [App & Notifications] > [Permissions] > [Coolwear/YFit App] > Set all permissions to ON.
• Special Note for iOS 12+: [Settings] > [Bluetooth] > [My Devices] > [Device Name] > Tap [Share System Notifications] > Enable.
• APP Permission Settings:
• Step 1 (Android): APP > [Device] > [Background run permissions] > Click.
• Step 2 (iOS & Android): APP > [Device] > [App alerts] > [Message reminding] > Change [Coolwear/YFit] from [OFF] to [ON].
• Check background run permissions if Bluetooth connection is abnormal or reminders are not received.

3. Time synchronization issues.

Do not use the phone's Bluetooth settings to connect. If already paired via phone settings, delete the watch from the list. Then, follow the "Watch & APP Connecting" steps.

4. Step count inconsistency between Watch and APP.

Confirm the connection status. The APP synchronizes steps automatically when connected.

5. Can it take photos/videos?

No, the watch does not have a camera. However, you can use the 'Shutter' feature to control your mobile phone's camera.

Usage Notes

• For accurate heart rate monitoring ❤️, stay still during the process.
• The watch is IP68 rated for dust and water resistance under specific conditions: max 1.5m water depth, max 30 minutes exposure.
• The screen touch does not support underwater operation. Wipe the watch with a soft cloth before operating if wet.
• Avoid wearing the watch too tightly. Keep the skin contact area dry. If skin irritation occurs, stop use and consult a doctor.
• The watch is not suitable for hot baths, hot springs, saunas, snorkeling, diving, water skiing, or other high-speed water flow activities.

Warranty Coverage

Maxima warrants your X Series smartwatch against manufacturing defects for one year from the date of purchase. For issues, contact the toll-free number 1800 572 8809 or visit www.maximawatches.com/xservices for pickup. Only the watch head is repaired or replaced.

Terms & Conditions

1. Customer must register the device on Maxima’s website for warranty services.
2. Proof of purchase (Invoice, Bill) is required.
3. Warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the first purchase.
4. Warranty is valid for 1 year from the date of purchase (as per bill/invoice).
5. Coverage is limited to repair/rectification. Replacement, if any, will be with an equivalent condition product.
6. If issues are not resolved via toll-free number or video call support, book a service request at www.maximawatches.com/xservices. Maxima's courier partner will pick up the product. Reverse pickup may be arranged from a nearby location if not available at your pincode.
7. Warranty services are limited to repair/replacement. Terms and conditions are subject to change at Maxima's discretion.
8. Maxima is not liable for any medical problems (e.g., rashes, skin allergies) caused by product usage.
9. Only the watch head is repaired/replaced; watch straps are not covered.
10. Delivery personnel will photograph the product before pickup and drop-off to document its condition during transit.

Things Not Covered in The Warranty:

• Unauthorized tampering, modification, or repairs.
• Damage due to abuse, neglect, improper use, handling, storage, installation, or testing not in accordance with the manual.
• Normal wear and tear, cosmetic damage (scratches, dents, broken plastics) unless due to material/workmanship defects.
• Defects or damages from misuse, accidents (fire, flood, collision, earthquake, liquid spillage, extreme temperatures, waterlogging, non-specified charger usage, acts of God).
• Usage not in accordance with technical specifications.
• Damage caused by third-party equipment.
• Use for medical, health, or treatment purposes.
• Data loss; costs related to data recovery, removal, and installation are not covered.
• Warranty automatically ends after 12 months from the purchase date, regardless of product usage.
