Warnings
WARNING: To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not remove the cover. No user-serviceable parts inside. Refer servicing to qualified technicians.
Do not expose this equipment to rain or moisture. Do not store or operate near liquids or heat sources. Clean only with a dry cloth.
Battery Information
The PBX-61162 is a lithium battery-powered PA loudspeaker. Ensure the battery is fully charged before first use to maximize its lifespan.
Charging: Connect the power adapter. Charging takes approximately 2-3 hours. The battery indicator light is red when charging and turns off when fully charged.
Charge & Play: The unit can be used while charging.
Battery Life: Approximately 1 hour on a full charge with standard usage.
When not in use, turn the speaker OFF to prevent battery drain. For prolonged periods of non-use, fully charge the battery at least every 60 days.
Control Panel & Rear Panel
Global System Controls:
- MODE Button: Toggles between AUX, USB, TF, FM, Bluetooth.
- TWS FUNCTION:
- K Button: Select previous track.
- ►ITWS Button: Play/Pause/TWS sync.
- ►► Button: Select next track.
- REPEAT: Repeats the current or all tracks.
- MIC.PRI: Selects/exits Microphone Priority mode.
Rear Panel Controls:
- Five Band Equalizer: Adjusts fixed frequencies.
- Master Volume Knob: Adjusts volume from minimum to maximum.
- Bass Knob: Adjusts bass from minimum to maximum.
- Treble Knob: Adjusts treble from minimum to maximum.
- Echo Knob: Adjusts echo from minimum to maximum.
- Microphone Volume Knob: Adjusts microphone volume from minimum to maximum.
- TF Card Input: Insert TF card.
- USB Input: Insert USB drive.
- AUX Input: 3.5mm input.
- Microphone Input: TRS microphone insert.
- Antenna: Adjust for optimal reception.
- Power Switch: ON/OFF.
- Light Switch: ON/OFF.
- Power Supply: AC 100-240V 50/60Hz.
- DC 12V Input: External input terminal.
Bluetooth & TWS (True Wireless Stereo)
TWS Connection: TWS connection is for two speakers of the same make and model.
- Turn on both units and enable Bluetooth mode. The indicator should be BLUE.
- Press and hold the TWS button for 3 seconds on one speaker to sync both units.
- On your mobile device, search for "PBX-61162" in Bluetooth settings and connect.
- Open your music app and enjoy True Wireless Stereo.
- To exit TWS, press and hold the TWS button.
Bluetooth Mode: Use the MODE button to enable Bluetooth. Search for "QFX PBX-61162" on your mobile device and pair. You do not need to reconnect Bluetooth when changing modes.
Remote Control Functions
The remote control allows for various functions:
- STANDBY: Puts the unit in standby mode.
- MODE: Toggles between USB, FM, AUX, Bluetooth.
- Mute: Mutes the track.
- PLAY/PAUSE: Controls playback.
- Previous Track (K): Selects the previous track/channel.
- Next Track (►►): Selects the next track/channel.
- EQ: Selects EQ mode.
- VOL- / VOL+: Decreases/Increases volume.
- REP: Repeats the current track.
- SCAN: Scans channels in FM Mode.
- Number Keys (0-9, 12-21): Select tracks for USB flash drive.

QFX warrants the Product to be free from defects in material or workmanship under normal, non-commercial use for the applicable Warranty Period.
Warranty Coverage: Covers Parts and Labor separately, starting from the original date of purchase.
QFX Options: QFX will, at its option, repair or replace the Product or its components with new or refurbished units.
Exclusions: This warranty does not cover misuse, abuse, neglect, accidents, improper installation, shipping damage, liquid damage, fire, flood, unauthorized service, removal of QFX label/logo, product modification, power surges, incorrect voltage, cosmetic damage, shipping damage, extreme temperatures, or acts of God.
Commercial Use: Product is sold for personal, non-commercial use only. Not warranted for commercial or rental use. QFX disclaims warranties for applications where data stored on the product may be compromised or relied upon for medical/lifesaving applications.
Limitation of Liability: QFX's aggregate liability is limited to the cumulative product fees paid by the customer for the products causing the damages.
Return Process:
- Contact QFX Customer Support.
- Ship the product PREPAID with original packaging or substitute.
- Include: dated sales receipt, detailed problem description, customer's full name, phone number, return address, and all accessories.
- Include a cashier's check or money order for handling, labor, and parts fees as specified in the product table (refer to page 7 of the manual for details).
- Contact QFX Customer Support to arrange payment via credit card if needed.
Note: Products returned without all required items or with no problem found may be returned to the customer without processing.
