Appearance
The camera features the following components:
- LED indicator: Provides status information.
- Micro SD card slot: For local video storage.
- Reset button: Used to restore factory settings.

LED Indicator Status
- Solid red: Initializing.
- Blinking red slowly: Disconnected from a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network.
- Blinking red quickly: Connecting to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network.
- Solid blue: Connected to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network.
- Blinking blue slowly: Upgrading.
- Blinking blue quickly: Waiting to connect to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network.
Resetting the Camera
Press and hold the Reset button for approximately 5 seconds until the LED indicator blinks blue quickly or a prompt tone is heard to reset the camera successfully.
One-Touch Call Button
This button is used for making remote video calls to the TDSEE app.
Add the Camera to TDSEE App
Tips: Before adding your camera, ensure your router is connected to the internet and that any MAC filtering function is disabled.
- Power on the camera. The LED indicator will light solid red during initialization. It will blink blue quickly when the camera is ready to connect to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network.
- Download the TDSEE app onto your mobile device by searching for "TDSEE" in the App Store or Google Play, or by scanning the provided QR code.
- Run the TDSEE app and follow the on-screen instructions to complete user registration. From the home page, tap "Add a device" or the "+" icon in the upper right corner.
- Scan the QR code located on the bottom of the camera and follow the instructions within the app to complete the setup.
Install the Device
The camera supports desktop, ceiling, and wall installations. This guide illustrates ceiling installation as an example.
Tips for Installation:
- Ensure the ceiling is structurally sound enough to support three times the weight of the camera and base.
- You may require a hammer drill, a drill bit, a screwdriver, and a ladder for installation.
Ceiling Installation Example
Steps:
- Place the installation template on the ceiling.
- Drill holes using a 6 mm drill bit to a depth of 28-32 mm at the marked locations.
- Insert the anchors into the drilled holes.
- Attach the base to the ceiling using the provided screws, ensuring they pass through the base and into the anchors.
- Mount the camera onto the base using the buckle and slot mechanism.
Post-Installation Adjustment
After mounting the camera, you may need to adjust its orientation for optimal monitoring. To do this, run the TDSEE app, select the camera on the homepage, tap the Settings icon (⚙️) in the upper right corner, navigate to "Video Flip-over," and choose "Camera UP-side Down" if needed.

Q1. What should I do if I failed to add the camera?
A1. Try the following solutions:
- Ensure your router is connected to the internet.
- The camera only supports 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi. Connect your smartphone to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network when adding the camera.
- Do not hide your router's Wi-Fi network name (SSID) during the camera addition process. You can hide it after successful setup.
- Confirm the camera's LED indicator is blinking blue quickly. If not, reset the camera by referring to the "Appearance" section and try configuring it again.
Q2. What should I do when the video preview is not smooth?
A2. Try the following solutions:
- Check if your Wi-Fi network is stable and performing well.
- Move the router closer to the camera.
- When previewing video using cellular data, ensure your smartphone has a stable internet connection.
- The camera supports "Auto," "Fluent," and "HD" video quality modes. "Auto" is the default. You can adjust video clarity based on your internet status.
Q3. How to view videos stored on the Micro SD card of the camera on a computer?
A3. If you remove the Micro SD card from the camera to view videos on your computer, it is recommended to use media players like VLC media player or Potplayer.
Q4. How to store the video?
A4. There are three methods:
- Method 1: Install a Micro SD card to the camera. By default, the camera uses "Alarm Recording," which can be changed to "All-day Recording" via the TDSEE app.
- Method 2: Subscribe to the Cloud Storage Service on the TDSEE app. Run the app, select the camera, and tap "Cloud Storage" in the lower left corner. A free 7-day loop recording service is available for 3 months upon first activation.
- Method 3: Connect the camera to an NVR. The camera supports the ONVIF protocol and can be added to an NVR either wired or wirelessly for recording storage. The default camera username is "admin" and the password is "admin123456". Refer to the NVR manufacturer's instructions for specific configuration.
