Somfy Situo 1 & 5 RTS II Remote Control
Installation and User Guide
Introduction
The Situo 1 RTS II remote control allows control of one or more applications within a group. The Situo 5 RTS II remote control allows control of up to 5 groups of one or more applications.
1. Safety and Liability
1.1. Liability
These instructions must be kept by the user. Failure to follow these instructions or use of the product outside its intended application is forbidden and will invalidate the warranty and discharge Somfy of all liability. This Somfy product must be installed by a professional installer of home automation and drive systems. The installer must comply with the standards and legislation in force in the country of installation and inform customers about the product's operating and maintenance conditions. 1.2. Safety Instructions
When used with a motor, also consult the motor's instructions. Do not install or use the product outdoors. Do not expose the product to shocks or drops, flammable materials, heat sources, moisture, or liquid splashes. Do not immerse it.
Warning: This product contains a button battery ?. Do not swallow the battery: risk of chemical burns, potentially fatal within 2 hours. If the battery is swallowed or enters the body, seek immediate medical attention. Keep batteries (new and used) and the product out of reach of children ?. If the battery compartment no longer closes, discontinue use and keep out of reach of children. Risk of explosion, flammable liquid or gas leakage from the battery if exposed to high temperatures (hot oven ?, fire), crushed, cut, or subjected to very low air pressure. Non-rechargeable batteries must not be recharged.

3. Selection of Groups on Situo 5 RTS II

Before any operation with the Situo 5 RTS II, ensure the correct group is selected.
- Short press on the group selector g: displays the selected group.
- Repeated presses: change the selected group.
The indicator light f for each group from 1 to 4 lights up individually. All indicator lights light up when group 5 is selected.
4. Installation
4.1. Adding/Deleting Situo RTS II
To program the first remote control, refer to the motor or RTS receiver manual.

To add or delete the Situo RTS II from an application:
- On an individual control already associated with the application: Press the PROG button (approx. 2 seconds) until the application performs a short up/down movement.
- On the Situo RTS II to be added or removed: For the Situo 5 RTS II, first select the group g. Briefly press the PROG button. The application will perform a short up/down movement, confirming the Situo RTS II is added or deleted.
4.2. Fastening

This product must not be installed higher than 2 meters. The building environment can reduce radio range. Guaranteed "room range" (Situo 1 RTS II) / "floor range" (Situo 5 RTS II) use, depending on the environment. Never install the control point near or with a metal frame or on metal surfaces, as this can reduce radio transmission range.
- Remove the protective film from the adhesive on the back of the wall mounting bracket.
- Fasten the wall mounting bracket to a flat, clean, and dry surface. Press firmly for optimal bonding.
- Place the remote control onto the holder.
5. Use
Before any operation with the Situo 5 RTS II, ensure the correct group is selected.
5.1. Buttons

Depending on the application type:
- Brief presses on Up/On/Open (b) or Down/Off/Close (d): Control the application's primary function (e.g., open/close blinds, turn lights on/off).
- Long presses on Up/On/Open (b) or Down/Off/Close (d): Tilt or adjust intensity (e.g., tilt blinds, adjust light brightness).
5.2. STOP/my Button

- Briefly press the STOP/my button (c) to stop the application's current action.
- If the application is stopped, briefly press the STOP/my button (c) again to activate it and move it to its favorite position (my).
5.3. Setting, Modifying, or Deleting the Favorite Position (my)

- To set the favorite position: Place the application in the desired position and press and hold the STOP/my button (c) for approximately 5 seconds until confirmation (e.g., a slight movement).
- To delete the favorite position: Place the application in its favorite position (my) and press and hold the STOP/my button (c) for approximately 5 seconds.
6. Tips and Recommendations
To replace a lost or broken control point, contact a professional installer of home and drive automation systems.
7. Replacing the Battery

Read the Safety Instructions section first.
Risk of explosion if the battery is replaced with an incorrect type.
- Unscrew the rear cover of the remote control as shown in the diagram.
- Push the used battery out of its housing using a plastic object.
- Insert a new CR2032 3V battery ?, ensuring the positive (+) side is visible. Comply with polarity. Do not short-circuit the power terminals. Push the battery fully into its housing.
- Replace and screw the rear cover back into place.
Please separate batteries and rechargeable cells from other waste types and recycle them via your local collection facility. We care about our environment ?. Do not dispose of the appliance with usual household waste. Take it to an approved collection point for recycling ♻️.
