Troubleshooting
Problem | Solution |
---|---|
The robot will not turn on. | The battery is low. Recharge the robot on the base station and try again. The battery temperature is too low or too high. Operate the appliance between 0°C (32°F) and 40°C (104°F). |
The robot will not charge. | The base station is not connected to power; ensure both ends of its power cord are correctly plugged in. The contact between the charging contacts on the base station and the robot is poor; clean the charging contacts. |
The robot fails to connect to Wi-Fi. | The Wi-Fi network password is incorrect; verify the password. The robot does not support 5 GHz Wi-Fi; ensure connection to a 2.4 GHz network. The Wi-Fi signal is weak; ensure the robot is in an area with good Wi-Fi coverage. The robot may not be ready for configuration; exit and re-enter the app, then follow prompts. |
The robot cannot find and return to the base station. | The base station is disconnected from power or moved while the robot is not on it; connect the base station to power or place the robot on it to charge. There are too many obstructions around the base station; place it in a more open area. Moving the robot may cause re-positioning and map recreation. If too far from the base station, manually place it to charge. Wipe the signaling area on the base station to remove dust or debris. The robot gets stuck in front of the base station; clear obstructions within 5 cm on the sides or 1.5 m in front. The charging route is blocked (e.g., door closed); move the base station to a different place and try again. |
The robot will not turn off. | The robot cannot be turned off while charging. Move it from the base station and press and hold the power button for 3 seconds. If it still doesn't turn off, press and hold the power button for 10 seconds for a forced shutdown. Contact after-sales service if the problem persists. |
The charging speed is slow. | It takes about 6 hours to fully charge. Charging speed slows down outside specified temperature ranges to extend battery life. The charging contacts on the robot and base station may be dirty; wipe them with a dry cloth. |
The noise increases while the robot is operating. | Check if the dust box filter is clogged; clean or replace it. A hard object may be caught in the main brush or dust box; check and remove it. The main brush or side brush may be tangled; check and remove foreign objects. Switch the suction mode to Standard or Quiet. |
The robot moves without following the set route. | Organize objects like power cords and slippers before use. Working on wet, slippery surfaces may cause the main wheel to slip; dry any wet areas. Wipe the line laser sensor with a clean, soft, dry cloth. |
The robot misses the rooms to be cleaned. | Ensure doors to rooms are open. Check for thresholds higher than 2 cm at doorways; the robot cannot climb over them. The area in front of a room may be wet and slippery, causing abnormal operation; dry the floor before use. |
The robot will not resume cleaning after charging. | Ensure DND mode is not active. The robot will not resume cleaning if manually placed on the base station or sent to charge via the app or button. |
The base station cannot automatically empty the dust box. | Check if the dust bag is full. If not, check for obstructions at the auto-empty vents of the robot, base station, or dust box; clean any blocked parts. |
The mop pad holder is raised abnormally. | Remove the mop pad holder to check for foreign objects stuck in it. Restart the robot. Contact after-sales service if the problem persists. |
No water comes out of the water tank, or only a little bit comes out. | Check if there is water in the tank. Clean the blowhole on the top of the water tank. Clean the mop pads if they are dirty. Ensure the mop assembly is installed correctly. |
Robot returns to the base station without performing auto-empty tasks. | DND mode prevents auto-empty tasks. |
