Setup and Pairing

Power On/Off

Magnetic Type: [Magnetic] Earphones automatically turn on when separated and automatically turn off when together.

Pairing

First-time use connection: Separate the earphones. The earphones will automatically enter pairing mode for new devices.

App Installation: Scan the QR code to install the Nothing X app. (Android / iOS)

For Android devices: Please place your earphones near the device for on-screen setup.

For iOS devices: Please select the earphones in the Bluetooth settings on your device to complete the connection.

Connecting to other devices / Re-pairing

In the power-on state, press and hold the function button ? for 3 seconds until the white light blinks. Then select in Bluetooth settings on your device.

Device Switchover

Double press ⏩ the function button ? to return to the last connected device.

Factory Reset

Press and hold the smart dial ⚙️ and function button ? together for 5 seconds to reset the earphones to factory settings.

Replacing Ear Tips

Choose ear tips in the appropriate size for optimal comfort and sound quality. Check the accessories for ear tips in different sizes. Earphones arrive with medium size attached.

Available sizes: Small, Medium, Large.

Operations

Smart Dial

Long press: [Long Press] Switch between Active Noise Cancellation and Transparency Mode.
Press: [Press] Pause/continue music ⏸️ / ▶️ when music is being played. Answer or hang up a call ? / ?.
Double press: [Double Press] Play the next song ⏭️. Reject an incoming call ❌.
Triple press: [Triple Press] Play the previous song ⏮️.
Rotate: ? Anticlockwise rotation: [Rotate Anticlockwise] Decrease volume ?. Turn clockwise: [Rotate Clockwise] Increase volume ?.

Function Button

More options available in the Nothing X app.

Optional functions: skip back, skip forward, switch noise cancellation mode, and wake up Voice Assistant.

Charging

? To charge, connect earphones to a power supply through a power cable.

Indicator Lamp Status:

Permanently red: [Red Light] Earphones are charging.
Permanently white: [White Light] Earphones are fully charged.
