1. SAFETY

Keep the extractor clean and maintain it in good condition (use an authorised service agent).

Replace or repair damaged parts. Use genuine parts only. Unauthorised parts may be dangerous and will invalidate the warranty.

Ensure that the tank capacity exceeds the amount of fluid to be collected.

DO NOT use the extractor for any purpose other than that for which it is designed.

DO NOT operate the extractor if any parts are damaged or missing as this may cause failure and/or personal injury.



WARNING! Engine oil maybe hot when extracting.



IMPORTANT! Ensure that you wear protective clothing, gloves, goggles, face mask as appropriate for the fluid being extracted.



WARNING! DO NOT allow uncontrolled discharge of fluids thus polluting the environment.

2. INTRODUCTION

Constructed from composite materials and suitable for the extraction of engine or transmission oils from cars, motorcycles, marine engines, stationary engines and industrial machinery. Also suitable for low viscosity fluids such as water,and E10 Fuel. Supplied with two suction probes, easy-pour spout and cover cap. Use probes to remove engine oil through the dipstick tube.

4. a ASSEMBLY
4.0.1.Screw the pump (fig.1.2) onto the threaded fitting at the top of the container (fig.1.1).
4.0.2.Push the required probe (fig..1.6 or 7) into the inlet connector (fig.1.4) until tight.
4.0.3.For maximum length, the 5mm probe can be connected to the end of the 8mm probe.

5. PREPARATION

Before attempting to extract any fluid, ensure that the machine to be worked on has stopped and is secured against restarting. Be aware that engine oil and other fluids may be hot, and take precautions.

Feed the probe into the appropriate access point (e.g. dip tube). Ensure that the tip of the probe is immersed fully into the fluid. Pump the handle (fig1.3) repeatedly until a vacuum is created in the container. Continue to pump as required.
As the container fills, stop pumping and monitor the level of fluid in the container. The pump assembly will be damaged if fluid is drawn into it.
To transport fluid, remove the pump and probe from the container and seal both openings securely with the anti-spill caps (fig.1.5). To empty the container, remove the inlet connector and pour the contents away. Always dispose of waste fluids responsibly and in accordance with local authority regulations.

7. MAINTENANCE.

7.1.

Clean the unit with warm, soapy water only. The probes may be cleaned by drawing through warm soapy water.

7.2.

Dry before storage.

7.3.

Regularly check for damage and replace damaged parts as necessary.

7.4.

Store in a secure, dry, childproof location when not in use.

WEEE REGULATIONS Dispose of this product at the end of its working life in compliance with the EU Directive on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE). When the product is no longer required, it must be disposed of in an environmentally protective way. Contact your local solid waste authority for recycling information.

ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION Recycle unwanted materials instead of disposing of them as waste. All tools, accessories and packaging should be sorted, taken to a recycling centre and disposed of in a manner which is compatible with the environment. When the product becomes completely unserviceable and requires disposal, drain any fluids (if applicable) into approved containers and dispose of the product and fluids according to local regulations.
