Installing the Batteries

Follow these steps to install batteries:

  1. Open the battery compartment lid located at the rear of the radio.
  2. Insert two R6 (AA) batteries, ensuring the '+' and '-' marks are aligned correctly with the corresponding markings in the compartment.
  3. Close the battery compartment lid.

When to Change the Batteries

Batteries should be replaced when the sound becomes weak or distorted. Remove both old batteries and insert new ones.

Listening to the Radio

  1. Turn the Power switch/VOL (volume) control to switch on the power and adjust the volume. To turn off the radio, turn the control down until a click is heard.
  2. Set the BAND selector to choose either FM or AM.
  3. Turn the TUNING control to select a station. The TUNE indicator lights up when a station is received.

Listening with Earphones:

Connect optional earphones to the earphone jack. The internal speaker will not produce sound when earphones are connected.
