Unit Components and Installation Slope
The PTAC unit consists of a Front Panel, Chassis, and connects to an Accessory Wall Sleeve and Outdoor Grille. For proper condensate drainage, the unit and sleeve must be installed with a slight rearward pitch.

Installation Notes
General Requirements:
- An electrical supply with a grounded three-prong receptacle is required.
- The power supply circuit must comply with current National Electrical Code (ANSI/NFPA 70) and local codes.
- Voltage Rating: 265V / 60 Hz.
- Recommended Circuit Breaker: 15 Amps.
- Unit is equipped with a 265V 3-wire power supply cord, NEMA plug type 7-15P, approximately 28" long.

Drainage Installation:
- To ensure proper condensate water drainage, the sleeve must be installed level from right to left with a slight 1/4" rearward pitch from the indoor side to the outdoor side. Refer to the Product Installation Guide for detailed instructions.
- A drain kit (listed in accessories) can be used for internal or external drain systems.
New Installation:
- Frigidaire® PTAC Sleeves are available and recommended for proper installation.
- Standard PTAC installation requires a maximum wall thickness of 13-1/2", unless a wall sleeve is used.
- If the PTAC unit protrudes more than 4", installation with a subbase is suggested.
Replacement Installation:
- When replacing an existing PTAC, refer to the Product Installation Guide to identify the existing wall-sleeve manufacturer and size compatibility.
- Ensure foam seals on tube sheets provide a good seal between the grille and outdoor coil tube sheets to prevent air recirculation.
- Using a Frigidaire® wall sleeve with a non-Frigidaire grille may require an Accessory Baffle Kit to ensure a proper seal and prevent air recirculation, which can reduce performance and cause damage.
