General Information
The Truflo TIR Series features robust construction with a Tefzel® paddle and zirconium ceramic rotor pin and bushings for excellent chemical and wear resistance. Key specifications include an operating voltage of 10-30VDC, RS-485 Modbus control output, and a 4-20mA transmitter. The ShearPro® design offers improved flow profiles and reduced drag.
Installation Guidelines
Proper installation is critical for accurate flow measurement. Ensure the pipe remains full of liquid and free of air bubbles. Adhere to recommended straight run pipe lengths upstream and downstream of the sensor. Lubricate O-rings with a compatible lubricant and use a gentle, twisting motion during insertion. Align the sensor tab with the fitting notch, ensuring it is parallel to the flow direction. Hand-tighten the retention cap; do not use tools.
