How to Use Spotify Connect on Silent Angel Rhein Z1

Step 1: Install Spotify Connect in Z1 and setup audio selector of Z1

To begin, ensure you have the "VitOS Manager" app installed on an iOS or Android device. Connect your mobile device to the same network as your Z1. Power on the Z1 and open the "VitOS Manager" app to discover your Z1.

The "VitOS Manager" app will display a discover page showing connected devices. Find your Rhein Z1 in the list and tap "Manage" to proceed to its main page.

Managing Spotify Connect Installation

On the Rhein Z1's main page within the "VitOS Manager" app, navigate to the "Applications" section. Check the status of "Spotify Connect". If it shows "Not Installed", you need to install it. Tap the [arrow] icon next to "Spotify Connect" to access its configuration page.

On the "Spotify Connect" page, tap the "Install" button to begin the installation process.

Once installation is complete, the "Spotify Connect" page will indicate "Status: Running". This confirms that the Spotify Connect feature is active on your Z1.

To ensure your USB DAC is used by Spotify Connect, go to the "Audio Selector" on the Z1's main page and click "Change". Select "Spotify Connect" as the "Occupied Application".

Step 2: Use Spotify app to control Z1 to play Spotify music

Use your phone, tablet, or computer as a remote control for Spotify. For more information, visit spotify.com/connect.
