Getting Started and Basic Operation

Before using the seca 803 scale, ensure it is placed on a flat, stable surface. The scale is designed for weighing and provides readings in various units.

Available Units: Kilograms (kg), Pounds (lb), Stone (st).

Operation:

• Place the scale on a level surface.
• Press the power button (typically located on the scale base or side).
• Wait for the display to show '0.00' or '0' before stepping on the scale.
• Step onto the scale with both feet.
• The weight reading will stabilize and be displayed.
• The scale will automatically turn off after a period of inactivity.

Warranty Information

seca provides a two-year warranty from the date of delivery for defects attributable to poor materials or workmanship. This warranty excludes all movable parts, such as batteries, cables, mains units, and rechargeable batteries.

Warranty Coverage: Defects covered by the warranty will be repaired free of charge upon presentation of the purchase receipt. No further claims will be entertained.

Transport Costs: Costs for transport in both directions will be borne by the customer if the equipment is located anywhere other than the customer's premises.

Transport Damage: In the event of transport damage, warranty claims can only be honored if the complete original packaging was used for transport and the scale was secured and attached within that packaging as it was originally packed. Customers are advised to retain all packaging materials.

Unauthorized Opening: A warranty claim will not be honored if the equipment is opened by persons not expressly authorized by seca.

International Customers: Customers abroad are requested to contact their local sales agent directly in the event of a warranty matter.
