Product Overview
The MAGIC-NS Lite is a USB wireless adapter designed to connect a wide range of Bluetooth controllers to various gaming systems. It supports connectivity with Nintendo Switch, PC (Windows), macOS, PlayStation 3, NEOGEO mini, NEOGEO Arcade Stick Pro, SEGA MEGA DRIVE mini, SEGA Genesis Mini, SEGA Astro City Mini, and Raspberry Pi entertainment systems.

Controller Compatibility
The adapter supports the following Bluetooth controllers:
- Sony DualSense, DualShock 4
- Microsoft Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One Bluetooth controllers, Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2
- Nintendo Switch Pro, Switch Joy-Con
- Nintendo Wii Remote, Wii U Pro
Note: The MAGIC-NS Lite is not compatible with DualShock 3 controllers.
Quick Start Guide
Step 1: Connect the Adapter
Connect the USB A-Male end of the MAGIC-NS Lite adapter to your game console's USB port.
Step 2: Observe LED Indicators
The LED indicator on the adapter will show the connection status:
- LED Indicator Status:
- Slow Blinking: Bluetooth not connected.
- Fast Blinking: Bluetooth pairing in progress.
- Solid: Bluetooth connection successful.
Mode Switching
To switch between system modes (e.g., Switch Pro, PS3, PC Xinput), press and hold the button on the top of the adapter for 3-5 seconds. The LED indicator will blink slowly to confirm the mode change.
LED Indicator Colors for Modes:
- Red: Switch Mode (Bluetooth headset compatible)
- Purple: Switch Pro Mode (Supports 6-axis motion and vibration)
- Blue: PS3 Mode
- Green: PC (Xinput) Mode
- Yellow: PC (Dinput) Mode
- Cyan: macOS Mode
- White: SEGA Mode
Bluetooth Controller Setup
To connect a Bluetooth controller:
- Connect the MAGIC-NS Lite adapter to your console.
- Turn on your Bluetooth controller and put it into pairing mode (usually by pressing a dedicated pair button).
- Press the button on the top of the MAGIC-NS Lite adapter. The LED indicator will blink quickly.
- Wait for the LED indicator to become solid, indicating a successful connection.
Note: For issues connecting Xbox Series S/X or Xbox Elite 2 controllers, ensure no other Bluetooth devices are in range, restart the controller, and re-pair with the adapter. Patience is key during pairing as the connection may briefly drop and re-establish.
Vibration Intensity Adjustment
To adjust the vibration intensity:
- Press and hold the R1/RB and R3 buttons on your controller for 3-5 seconds until the controller rumbles.
- While holding these buttons, press the D-Pad "Up" or "Down" to increase or decrease vibration intensity.
- Release the buttons when the desired intensity is set.
There are 7 levels of vibration intensity, with Level 1 being the lowest and Level 7 the highest. The default level is 100% (Level 7).
Vibration Levels:
- Switch Pro mode: 0%, 25%, 37.5%, 50%, 62.5%, 75%, 100%
- PS3, PC Xinput mode: 50%, 62.5%, 75%, 87.5%, 100%, 125%, 150%
Dead Zone Adjustment
To adjust the controller's dead zone:
- Press and hold the START button and either the D-Pad Left or D-Pad Right button.
- Once the adapter's LED starts blinking, release the D-Pad button but continue holding the START button.
- Press the D-Pad "Up" or "Down" to increase or decrease the dead zone.
- Release the START button when the desired dead zone value is achieved.
There are 7 levels for the Dead Zone Value, with Level 1 being the smallest dead zone (0%) and Level 7 being the largest (15%). The default level is Level 3 (7.5%).
The dead zone level can be identified by the number of times the adapter's LED blinks after releasing the START button (e.g., 3 blinks for Level 3).
Dead Zone Levels:
- Level 1: 0%
- Level 2: 2.5%
- Level 3: 5%
- Level 4: 7.5%
- Level 5: 10%
- Level 6: 12.5%
- Level 7: 15%
Using Bluetooth Headset (Switch Mode / Red LED)
For Switch mode (indicated by a Red LED), you can use a Bluetooth headset. Power on your headset and put it into pairing mode. The adapter's LED will blink rapidly during pairing and become solid upon successful connection.
Note: Switch Mode (Red LED) does not support 6-axis motion or vibration. For these features, use Switch Pro Mode (Purple LED).
Software Update
If you encounter issues, update the adapter's firmware:
- Download the software from www.mayflash.com/Support and install it on your Windows system.
- Run the updater and keep the window open.
- Press and hold the button on the side of the adapter, then connect the adapter to a spare USB port on your PC. Wait for 3-5 seconds.
- Release the button once the adapter is recognized.
- Select "Update" in the software.
- Do not disconnect the device until the update is confirmed as complete.
Additional Functions
- Only one Bluetooth controller can be connected to the adapter at a time.
- Button Mapping: To swap button functions (e.g., A/B, X/Y), press and hold the START button and the 'A' button for 3 seconds. To revert to default mapping, press and hold START and 'B' for 3 seconds. This feature is optional and depends on controller compatibility.
- PS4 Touch Pad: The Touch Pad button on a PS4 controller functions as the Capture button when connected to a Switch system via the adapter.
- Disconnection: Press the button on the top of the adapter to disconnect the controller. For Xbox Elite 2 controllers, press and hold the HOME button on the controller to power it off and disconnect.
- Controller Memory: The adapter can remember up to 6 paired wireless controllers. However, for BLE devices like Xbox Series X/S, it can only remember one controller.
